An advice book helps girls better understand and deal with their own unique family dynamics through tips and advice on living, communicating, and having fun with parents, brothers, and sisters.
I had last read this book when I was probably around 12 years old or so, so I didn’t remember any of it or what it was like. I was pleasantly surprised. While I’m not the target audience of tweens, this was a lighthearted and fun take on how to interact and better understand your immediate family. I come from a very toxic and dysfunctional family so reading something something so positive was very refreshing and encouraging. I do however as an adult see some impracticalities in the book and where boundaries and limits need to be set, especially with families like mine!! I really enjoyed this read overall though!!
