Embodiment: The Manual You Should Have Been Given When You Were Born

Rate this book
The Manual You Should Have Been Given When You Were Born is not like any other body book you've ever read. It's about functioning with your body from the perspective of beingness. It explores how you, as an infinite being, can experience greatness with your body. "What if your body were an ongoing source of joy?" This book may go against everything you've ever thought, everything you've been taught and everything you've read; and everything you have brought that everyone else believes. It doesn't claim to give you all the answers. Instead it will encourage you to ask the questions that will allow you to enjoy the body you currently have and to create your body so that you can truly enjoy it.

I love the central thesis about communion with one's body... but what the hell did I just read?
Energy healing a broken jaw, the two species of human, a chiropractor admitting to being turned on by his patients, having 8 orgasms a day, a long etcetera

Equal parts whacky and icky

This book is a must for people who want to gain more communion with their physical body. For so long my body was my enemy and I was as far from embodiment and being one with it as I could get. This book cleared up some misconceptions I had and opened the door for more ease with my body.

DNF 17 minutes. Pretty sure embodiment doesn't mean treating your body as a completely separate being who might need lots of alcohol to cope with going to the office.

After reading Being You and Divorceless Relationship .. this felt like a repetition. not much of new information.
I am thankful for the expansion that these books are allowing me to be though.

and for some reason Dain is insisting on the need to stay turned on at all times lol
He says it brings you the joy of life ... let's try it! XD

The concept of embodiment this book wants to put forward is completely made up, and not at all in line with philosophical and anthropological views. This book is just a bunch of misconceptions, twisted logic and potentially harmful suggestions - especially if taken to the extreme.

I finished this #AccessConsciousness book a while ago but never up-dated on my goodreads account.

If you're wondering what embodiment means, this quick read is written so that you will truly understand.
