I had the privilege of helping out with this book, and I must say, what an adventure! It is not every day that you get a blind heroin, or, someone who is struggling to understand who they are. I am so thankful that as a reader, I am able to share experiences with this story. If you haven’t read any of Katie’s books, start now! You’ll have no regrets

The Sisterwitches Book 1
It is so good to be back visiting our beloved characters Sanna, Isadora, Max, Luteis! You will want to read The Dragonmaster Trilogy before starting The Sisterwitches. The Sisterwitches start immediately after The Dragonmaster Trilogy ended. We join Sanna and Luteis as she is adjusting to the loss of her sight and her magic, such interesting perspective. Isadora and Max are figuring out if they want to stay handfasted (even though both are madly in love with each other), can love conquer? So many questions. This is book one in a series of nine. Can’t wait to see what’s in store for each of our favorite people. Katie doesn’t disappoint, looking forward to book two!

Sanna has lost her sight but been reunited with Luteis albeit without Dragonian magic.
Isadora and Max who previously bound themselves together for political reasons and now must decide how to move forward.
Charles, High Priest of the Central Network, is focusing on rebuilding the network with competent leadership.
It felt so good to be spending more time with some of my favorite characters and relationships again.

I love Sisterwitches. Katie's writing has seamlessly returned me to Alkarra and the time an hour after Dragonmasters finished. What a gorgeous, fun, delicious, emotional start to a new awaited series. Cannot wait to devour more, Katie leaves me fully satiated yet craving more!!! If you haven't yet, read the Dragonmasters series then dive right in the ADVOCATE then Sisterwitches you will not be disappointed...and i bought my copy gettin her site so i received a bonus story at the end, which was like the after dinner mint to this feast

This story was so rewarding and fulfilling to be back in the lives of Sanna and Isadora from the Dragonmaster world. Discovering the trials Sanna deals with due to her new circumstances. As well as finding out the developments in Maximillion’s and Isadora’s relationship. I am so looking forward to experiencing more of Sanna’s and Isadora’s lives. I am impatiently awaiting book 2. This book should be read after the Dragonmaster Trilogy and reading the Advocate give you great background as well. It was great to take this journey with these characters that I love.

Sisterwitches is a series of now 10 books. In book 1 we are back around the time of the Trilogy: Flame, Flight, and Freedom.
In talking with some who have read the book, some hate Maximillion while others (myself included) think there is more to his young man than meets the eye. I loved the book as it brought back memories of the Trilogy and put into perspective some of the things that occurred there. Looking forward to reading more of this series.

Welcome back to the land of the dragons! For some it's been a long time coming and for many it will be like no time passed. A beautiful beginning to the next chapters of the lives of Sanna/Luteis and Isadora/Max. They all have so much to learn and many adjustments to make and trust most of them are not smooth. Join Katie on the flight back into the realm of the dragons and the sisters! You won't be disappointed I promise

Oh, Isadora and Sanna!! Your stories continue as if we never left you. It is an exhilarating, probing, and emotional journey as we start again where we left off. Be prepared for many twists and turns in this first book of The Sisterwitches series. You'll love it!!

I loved how Katie showed Sanna adjusting to a life with blindness.
ALSO. I loved the romance in this book. 😍 Clean, and long waited for.

Isadora and Sanna have always been favorites of mine in the Alkarran world, so I’ve eagerly awaiting this series! The first installment did not disappoint. I’m excited to see what Book 2 brings!

This book was a treat to read! I loved getting to know Maximillion on a more intimate level and see where the paths lead Sanna and Isadora. Thoroughly enjoyed from beginning to end.
