This is a compilation of the bestselling series,Love Notes.
Book #1: Three of Us
Olivia is ready for two things: college and her two men.
Despite dating the Audley twins since she was fifteen, it’s been a chaste relationship. No matter how she tries to tempt them. Olivia knows that loving her two men isn’t conventional, but she’s determined to have them even if the whole world disapproves.
Her men haven’t even kissed her, and she’s tired of waiting. The minute she hits campus where the two men have been hiding out for the last two years while somehow still keeping tabs on her every move, she will shake their world.
Levi and Zeke made a promise to Olivia’s mom they wouldn’t touch her until she was ready. They’re not sure what that means, but they know they will wait forever just to have her. The problem is that Olivia keeps testing their vows. It’s hard not to give your girl what she wants when that’s all you’ve ever wanted to do. The minute the clock turns midnight, though, all bets are off.
The three will have to stand strong in order to convince all that matter that the three of them belong together.
Book #2: Belong Together
Olivia knows that loving her two men isn’t conventional, but she’s determined to have them even if the whole world disapproves.
Levi and Zeke have claimed their girl, but not everyone is happy for them. There are some arrows that even the two of them can’t block.
The three will have to stand strong in order to convince all that matter that the three of them belong together.
Plot: Levi and Zeke have been at college for two years without their girlfriend, Olivia. They've been waiting, maybe not patiently, for her to join them and turn 18 so that they can finally be together fully. While some things are exactly as they hoped, there are people on campus who aren't willing to accept their unusual relationship. Levi and Zeke won't let anything stop them from making Livvie their own though.
Commentary: Olivia is a hot mess and so loveable for it. She was a sweetheart though, attaching herself to Ericka and not acting vindictively when she was attacked (not that she needed to - the twins took care of that). This book is weirdly cute but also feels a little steamier than most of this author's other books - not outrageously so, but a little (both of Olivia's books are).
Romance trope: menage Series: Three of Us Length: 102 pages
Plot: The story continues right where Three of Us left off. Levi, Zeke, and Olivia are now together, practically living together. But when Olivia goes back to her dorm room to find Erika, she finds instead that someone has vandalized the room. The twins move fast to take care of the problem, and we get to meet the mysterious Tank that can't stop watching Erika. In the end the twins are going to make sure that they have their relationship with Olivia wrapped up in every way possible.
Commentary: Sweet but super spicy - and honestly, if Olivia wasn't so committed to the twins, I'd be worried - she's a bit of a nympho! The twins were clever in buying the frat house in Olivia's name - although they kinda glossed over giving it away (why the Political Science club?). And of course there were cute epilogues.
Plot: One of Tank's friends asks him to do him a favor and walk his girlfriend's friend back to her dorm. At first he's really annoyed because he doesn't want anything to do with a girlfriend. But when he sees Erika, he knows he would willingly follow her all around the world.
Commentary: Favorite Ella Goode story! I love big, gruff, confused Tank carrying around his tiny little Erika, making sure she's okay and safe from anything that might even think about harming her, including her parents! It was so sweet the way he just picked her up. And that girl could eat! That was so funny too, how serious she was about her food.
And poor Tank! His experiences so hadn't been that great:
It’s not that I hate women. I don’t. It’s just…they always want shit. They take one look at me and think I can do stuff for them and I don’t want to. I just want to box, make enough money to feed my cat, and make sure Morry has a good retirement. I don’t want to take them out on dates, buy them food, go shopping with them, give them babies.
But once he saw Erika, all of that changed!
There are a couple of consistency issues, but all in all, I really enjoyed this story. It was sweet and hot, low angst, with an OTT quiet alpha hero who would let nothing stand in between him and his girl.
I loved reading these all together - previously I had read the first two together and then the third separately, but it made more sense together, even though the timelines overlap.
It’s a collection of one of Ella Goode’s best series.
Three of Us and Belong Together is classic Goode poly throuple. Olivia finally graduates and joins her super-hot boyfriends Zeke and Levi at college, where they face backlash because they're in a poly relationship in a romance novella. I’m obsessed and I love them. Everything is ridiculous and perfect. She’s All Mine is about Olivia’s roommate shy Erika who meets intense boxer Tank. Obvious instalove with very little plot, but plenty of good smut.
The plot is unrealistic and a fun kind of silly but the writing is amazing and a group of great 2-hour reads. The bit with the frat house lives in my head rent free and has since I first read it last year.
I love Ella Goode's stories. In this one, we have a poliamorous relationship with twin brothers; the first one is when they finally become a threesome after waiting for their girl to turn 18. In the second story, we see the three of them navigating their relationship in college. The third story is about Erika meeting Tank, a boxer and college senior, and fallen in love. Great reads. Highly recommended
