I love this book.I've read it so many times and learned many things.

While the written instructions in this book are excellent the illustrations and drawings are sub par. Many of the black and white photos have shadows that make it difficult to see the pieces clearly. The hand drawn illustrations accompanying are difficult to decipher. When this book was initially published there was very little like it out in the market. Now there is a wide variety of published jewelry making guides as well as blogs and video instructions available for free on the internet. An avid beader might enjoy having this book in her collection, I would not recommend it for a beginner.
