- يشرح الكتاب التغيرات التي أدت إليها ظرية النسبية فيما يخص تفسيرات كانط الخاصة بالمعرفة القبلية، فكما يقول الكاتب "الأبحاث الحديثة غيّرت مفهوم القبلية بشكل جذري، إذ أدى رفض تحليل كانط للعقل إلى رفض أحد معاني القبلية، وهو القائل بأن الحكم القبلي هو الحكم الذي يكون صادقا دائما دون الاعتماد على التجربة"
