THIS IS #2 IN A SERIES OF THREE. RIVER & NOAH IN LOVE SINCE THEY WERE BOTH TEENAGERS. AFTER A DEVASTATING EXPERIENCE DURING THEIR BUDDING ROMANCE OCCURS, THEY SEPARATE AND MEET AGAIN AS ADULTS. THEY FIND OUT THAT THEY STILL HAVE UNFINISHED BUSINESS AS FAR AS FEELINGS GO. I COULD TELL THEY WERE NEVER GOING TO SOLVE ANYTHING, UNLESS THEY WERE TOGETHER. THE ROMANTIC ANGST IS SO HEAVEY THEY CAN'T GO ANYWHERE BUT UP IN STEAMY, SUPER HOT FREAKIN' FLAMES. . .WHICH THEY DO TIME AFTER TIME, AFTER TIME. River Blu has it all a great musical talent and she is a rock star that is dominating the charts . She has her secrets that are haunting her and she will not give her heart to just anyone. When her life is in danger she calls the only person she knows that can help keep her safe . Noah he will do anything to keep the woman he loved safe and figure out who is trying to kill her.
This is a second chance romance entwined with a mystery. River Blu is a rock star who is hiding secrets from her past. She is a woman who is so confident and knows what she wants. Until the day Noah a confident vet who is running an guardian agency . He is sharp and reliable in a white hat come to the rescue kind of guy . Together they are hot and you want to be friends with them. They are strong characters which are on the verge of being complex .
This book is a good sexy fast read that you can read in an evening. The characters are well written and you will really like the story line and yes there are some good romantic times through out the book . This is the first book I have read from this author and I think i will be checking out more of her books

My ultimate mistake was to buy the Trilogy of White Wedding after reading GoodRead reviewers praising the first book as the ultimate thriller to my disappointment. Book 2 didn’t fare any better and instead of (Something Blue) as a reference to the main female lead is nothing but Something Dreadful. This is not a thriller; 15 pages introduced the story, went over the plot, and conclusion achieved while the rest of the pages were sexual tension attempts to fill up the manuscript. It’s not a hard read; I would finished it in an hour, but it wasn’t encouraging with no character development, waste of supporting characters, and fan service spices to appeal to certain readers.

If I can give it a Zero, I will as this book was a waste of time. Unfortunately, I have to read the final part of this trilogy next.

Something Blue is the 2nd book in the Guardian Agency series. River Blue's music has made her a star but it has also made her the center of a stalker's twisted fantasy. When things get out of hand she turns to the one person she knows she can trust Noah who is with the Guardian Agency. Even though things were not left on a good note with him years ago she knows he would never hurt her. As the stalker escalates and a friend gets hurt instead of River Noah isolates her from everyone. They leave town and let the cops in town try to find clues for them. The feelings grow between them as if the years had never passed and they finally admit their feelings. There is so much going on in this book. You will not be able to put it down it is a quick read but intense. Enjoy

I’m always a sucker for a bodyguard romance, but the second chance layer in Something Blue totally sent me over the edge. Unlike your typical protection story, the stakes here feel incredibly high; River isn’t just dealing with fame, she’s facing life or death from a persistent stalker. Noah is the ultimate standout hero; fiercely protective without ever being overbearing. While the mystery itself is straightforward, that constant sense of impending doom kept the pacing tight and the tension high. If you like your romance with a side of genuine danger and deep history, this is the one for you!

Something Blue & Beautiful is a sweet , angsty drama filled ❤ that is reminiscent of one of my all time fave movies -🎬Whitney Houston's--The Bodyguard, with lots more 🔥🔥🔥& 🌶🌶🌶🌶 with Dreamboat Noah & 🎤River Blu😘 . It was great to see Ross & Shanna's wedding from book one.😍The only thing missing from this 📙 is an epilogue! Happy Reading🍷

Second Chances

River and Noah another gem sitting on my kindle for too long before I finally got to their story.

I already told you gals I mistakenly read the 3 book arc out of sequence (don't judge me) and although I did the books flowed very well by intersecting each of the stories of Ross, Simon and Noah so you saw a part of each of the heroes lives.

River and Noah had a long history together much longer than Ross and Simon had with their ladies. For you see River and Noah grew up together in Virginia. Noah being two years older than River they still pretty much did everything together. Two young people so in love believing that the world is their oyster and nothing could ever come between them. But oh so wrong they would found out in a very painful and devastating way. That would rip the two from each other lives for years, it's amazing when people say, oh your too young to have such feelings and it will pass because it's just puppy love. But the two go through life one has a secret that she withheld from him and the other believing one thing about her when she never informed him of the truth, leaving him to believe she did the unthinkable.

How do two people who are obviously still in love with each other but don't know how to begin to make amends and heal? Easy when the person you love is suddenly in danger all bets are off and you will put your life on the line for her and she would do the same for him. They say the truth will set you free which is true but sometimes the lie that was told in the first place can't undue the damage done nor bring two people back together again.

The love Noah has for River flows deep like her namesake. River is a famous musical artist with a huge fan base and 1 crazy and obsessive fan who is hell bent on taking her away so that they can finally be together. But Noah is her bodyguard and is determined crazy fan or not will never get River.

What I loved about this story also is Noah has a nice surprise of his own that really endeared me to him even more (No Spoilers)

I really hope that author Ursula Sinclair has plans in the future to write about the men in the agency because it really is a great series.

Noah and River

The love between these two was filled with misunderstanding, pain, guilt and confusion. But when River needed Noah to protect her from a stalker, he was there and so was the love. They had to talk about some difficult and painful moments in their past in order to move forward in represent and possibly into a future together. Would their love survive or would it end forever?

Someone was obsessed with River and they were escalating to the point where her safety was in question. Then her assistant is attacked and they realise this stalker isn't playing around and they need identify him and take him down.

The past has the answers to everything but will they figure it all out before River is hurt? Grab your copy and find out. Ursula Sinclair did a wonderful job as always. There were a few typos but they did not take away from the story.

Something Blu was a book that I really wish would have been longer. The premise is not anything that new, except for the history between Noah and River. You wish that they had not gone through what they had when they were younger so that they didn't need to spend all those years hurt and apart. But at the same time it was the separation that made them who they were and put them in the place they were to make this story work. The ending in particular was very well done and emotional.

This was another great read in the series. River and Noah's story. This couple was allowing their past history to get in the way of their attraction and love for each other. They had both handled a very distressing situation poorly and because of that they were not together. As Noah tries to keep River safe they rediscover their relationship.

This was such a great series I really enjoyed reading it.
