Having just read the book about William Clark, it was fun to read Meriwether Lewis and fill in some of the stories of them together. Meriwether’s childhood was vastly different than William’s, yet they were great friends. This was an enjoyable story and kept my interest. I would certainly recommend it to anyone learning about Lewis and Clark.

A quick short read geared more toward the young reader but informative on one of the more famous American explorers.

I had NO idea about this man's childhood background until reading this book. It inspired our *Knights* to create their own *trail*.
