About the author

Robin Fraser Callander (b.1952) is a Scottish writer, publisher and land reform campaigner. In 1992, Callander founded the Friends of John McEwan and instigated a series of John McEwan Memorial Lectures on aspects of land reform which ran until 2000.

In June 2013, Callander was appointed as an adviser to Scotland's Land Reform Review Group.
