With the alliance broken, the Valle and Encala again form ideas on how to gain control of Emily. Her life on Island Coven gets in the way of Equites plans and Chevalier has to intervene and figure out if Emily has overstepped in the coven. V.E.S. activity strengthens and it's up to all three factions to find a solution to their growing numbers. Problems within the Cavalry ranks turn out to be more than what it first appears to be, while the return of a former Elder imperils all Winchesters. Emily is gifted a new home and gets a small taste of what a mortal life would be like, but the same nightmare begins to wear on her and what it contains angers the heku. Dustin continues to be a problem on the Council and confrontations between he and Emily start to spiral out of control. The heku child continues to baffle all heku and his innate nature begins to worry Chevalier. After a battle, an Encala Elder falls missing and his whereabouts threaten to pit the Equites in a war against the other two factions.
T.M. Nielsen doesn't necessarily consider herself an author. She's an every-day woman who had a story to tell. Never intending to let anyone else read it, she decided to put it all down on paper. What she ended up with is a fascinating tale filling 7 books full of drama, adventure, action, romance, and excitement.
When asked why she decided to publish, she stated, "I want for others to be able to forget about problems in life and to lose themselves in my world... the world of the heku. While I write, I laugh, cry, grin, gasp, and my heart races. I want others to experience that too."
T.M. Nielsen is a computer tech by trade and lives with her husband and two beautiful daughters.
This was awesome!!! It seems like Nielsen is really coming into her own with Ferus. Just like the previous books this is action packed. I'm really liking Emily now though she can still be very annoying. But I like the growth she's made.
This book was absolutely amazing!!! The books seem to just get better and better. More enticing, more adventure, more of absolutely everything. Cannot wait to read the rest. The best way to describe it is adictive! One book that I will read over and over...
I really wanna feel bad for what emily is going through, and noone should have to endure that!! But in all honestly she brings it on herself. I really feel more sorry for Chev
This book was actually better. Emily is still dumber than a bag of rocks at times but I actually found myself laughing at times and feeling sorry for her during others.
