About the author

I was born In Hull, Yorkshire, England in 1956. I started to write at the age of 44 in the year 2000 and I wasn't very good. I slowly learned over the years that followed, mainly from people online who gave up their time to help me. I chose to write imaginative things and sometimes allowed my own imagination to get away from me. I started with erotic tales before going onto more serious stuff, although having said that my erotic stories have been popular.

Very different tales

This collection has some very good but different tales.
Most are slightly supernatural in nature.
Unfortunately they are too much of a much meat for my liking.It

I couldn't make up my mind if this was a collection of short erotic tales, or whether it was a novel/novella of one man who just had lots of sex. Either way, it wasn't as terrible as some of the reviews have made out.

It was well-written, no awful or raging errors spelling or grammar wise, so Carl can clearly write a good story. Yes, it could be vulgar in places, but it's a collection of erotic stories, and it's written by a man (apologies for the sexism) so that didn't surprise me in the slightest.

It was... Interesting and eerie... I'm not a fan of ghosts, and certainly not a fan of ghost sex - it's not an experience I've ever considered!! But Carl managed to make it less spooky and more sexy, so I have to say bravo on that front.

Overall I lost track of what little storyline was weaved in and out of the tales. It's not a book I would necessarily read again, but I haven't deleted it off my Kindle either. Plus it was free, so I can't exactly complain!

Okay, I've decided to give up on this very entertaining book. I will just decide that I do not care for erotica. Especially since reading about sex between characters I do not know or like is not at all, well, erotic to me.

This book is written by a man, and maybe I should try another women's erotica book before I give up, but I doubt I will. It would have to have a whole lot of story. This one didn't. It read like a script for bad porn.
The grammar and punctuation were atrocious, too. That did not help.

I'd recommend to anyone who wants a good eye-rolling laugh.

Hoo boy. Well, it is written by a man, and the stories I think really are more for men than women. Though having said that my husband read a few pages over my shoulder and laughed, so maybe I don't know who this was written for?

Plots were very thin on all of them, in fact they read a bit like a bad porno. No substance to any of them (except maybe the first one, but even that was graphic).

I'm not sure how or why this is #2 on Smashwords... it really isn't that great.

Have you ever read a book and think to yourself, "It's got to get better"? Well that's what kept me going through 508 pages of this anthology. Did it get better? NO.. If anything it become even more repetitive. There was one sweet story and the sex was hot but that could not redeem this book. I flipped through most of the stories and only finished cause I can't count it as part of my completed books if I DON'T COMPLETE IT...

Holy Crap.... I was not anticipating what I got out of this short stories but I can honestly say that I was damn happy I read it. Sexy paranormal adventures.. who cares if some of it comes out of nowhere.. I'm sure going to read the other erotic tales by Carl East and hopefully find my own haunted house... teeheehee

I highly recommend this book to anyone who likes to read books that opens their mind, imagination and getting lost in the stories. The author did a wonderful job of writing scenes that arouse the reader without being vulgar.

I have to say that this was pretty good. I especially loved the first two stories with its supernatural theme. Sadly, I didn't exactly like 2 or 3 of the short stories. I still find them good though which I really wasn't expecting due to the negative reviews given.

I will just say that this erotica did not have the intended effect, possibly in part due to the crazy punctuation and some spelling issues. However, I managed to read it all, so it gets two stars.
