This is a quick and easy book to read. The characters are well rounded but it's a bit predictable in parts. This is an enjoyable read.

This book wasn't great, but I doubt anyone who picks it up expects it to be, since it's available as a free download and it's a romance novel. It was a quick read with solid, if simple, writing, which is more than can be said about many free works, particularly in the romance genre.

Sparks Fly is cheesy with the typical romance novel all-too-perfect guy (rich, hard-working, artistic, good with kids, cares about his mom, etc. etc. etc.) and a beautiful, but not too beautiful (to be off-setting so that readers can't insert themselves into the main character's role) who helps dispel the leading man's angst with the power of LOVE.

That said, this was an entertaining breezy read for when the rom-com movie itch strikes, and it's free to boot :)

This was a short quick read that was good. Angelina Morgan is a consultant who practices Feng Shui. Will Scott is a CEO who doesn't believe anything he can't see and touch. These two were total opposites with the help of meddling friends they are set up. The sex scenes in this book were ok not hot like I like them. This book was written by an author that I have read before (Bella Andre) so I picked this book because I am doing a challenge that I had to pick a book that someone else read and I am glad that I read it. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. I am looking forward to reading more of her work.

This is only 32,000 words so it's a quick read, but I got into to this story from page one and couldn't put it down. Will and Angelina couldn't be more different - he's a hot-shot business exec, and she's a feng shui consultant - but despite them infuriating each other at times, there's an attraction they can't ignore. Throw in a match-making mum and you're all set to go!

This is a really fun chicklit romance and I will definitely be reading more from Lucy.

Cute but predictable

Overall I liked this book. It was an easy and quick read. I think that the story was good but predictable. I would like some deeper character development.

This is a "love at first sight" kind of book. Angelina and Will meet thanks to Will's ex-wife, Susan, who hires Angelina's services as Feng Shui consultant to fix Will's house, in hopes she can get him back. But as he opens the door - bam! they both fall for each other. Although neither of them gives in to the feeling, actually he's totally rude to her and she leaves before they can even start to speak about the consultation.
When Susan begs Angelina to give Will another chance, she unwillingly agrees to and after that, well, things sort of change between them.
All in all the story was okay. I liked some parts, but it somehow felt it all happened a little too soon. I couldn't really bond with the characters, sometimes I felt as if they weren't totally coherent with themselves, especially when they kept pushing each other away, only to fall into each other's arms within the next chapter
It was a nice read, but not one of my favorites.

Sparks Fly is by Lucy Kevin. It is a cute book but one that did not catch my attention. I read it at different times when I had nothing else to do. I really can’t recommend it.
Angelina Morgan is a Feng Shui consultant. She has been hired to tell Will Scott how to arrange his home so it is in the perfect Feng Shui position for him. This was a gift to him by his ex-wife Susan. He is not particularly interested in having it done, although he is interested in Angelina when he meets her. Susan has given him this gift in hopes that it will change him enough to bring him back to her. Angelina doesn’t care why, she just wants and needs the job.
The job puts her in constant contact with Will as he invites her to join him in various activities he has already planned. This is so she can get a true feeling of who he is to add to her evaluation of him. The first thing she manages to do is to get him to clean up and change his office which is simply amazing to Susan.
Can Angelina get her job done without succumbing to Will’s charma? Will Will get his wishes? What about Susan?

LOVED THIS STORY.
Even if I got this for free on my Kindle XdS.
Sure, this novella was predictable what with the "happily-ever-afters" and such, but I really liked this either way; it was a quick, easy, and entertaining read.:)

This was a free book for me on my kobo, so I thought, why not. Utterly and completely predictable, I thought my 10 year old wrote it. Although, I did enjoy it a little, just don't tell anyone I said that.

Lucy Kevin is a name used by the hugely successful Bella Andre for “sweet” romances – those without the steamy scenes.

The main character, Angelina, is a Feng Shui expert. I thought this was an interesting and novel career for a main character as it gives her the chance to poke around people’s houses and get to know them intimately. What’s wrong with their lives? What do they want, or need? How do they go about getting that? It’s a great way for Angelina to get to know her clients, and one in particular.

Will is the CEO of a huge company and is extremely wealthy. His ex-wife hires Angelina to sort his life out, in the hope that Feng Shui will help her to win him back. Unfortunately, in Angelina, she picks the most beautiful and charming Feng Shui expert in town (maybe the only Feng Shui expert in town, I don’t know).

Will and Angelina are attracted to each other from the start. Will, however, is married to his company and his phone, and they have more of his attention than the attractive Feng Shui lady left waiting on his doorstep. Even so, he can’t get her out of his head, and the attraction between them is there from the start.

Angelina has a friend called Krista. I liked Krista. I thought she was more fleshed out than either of the main characters, and her personality really shone through. I could see bits of myself in her, which might explain why I identified with her more than I did with Angelina. She is flirty and fun, and on the lookout for a good time.

I don’t want to give away any spoilers, so I’ll just say that Will’s ex-wife’s plan fails miserably, and something happens aboard Will’s private jet that gives Angelina a lot to think about.

I would have liked Angelina to have been a bit more fleshed out. There were times when I wondered why she thought the way she did about certain things. (As a writer, this made me wonder if I’m fleshing my characters out enough…aarrgh!) But overall, it was a well-written quick read.

What another great read

What another great read from Lucy. Angelina and Will are to me opposites but really when you get down to Will’s core he is just like her only he squashed all his earthy roots down and built himself to be a corporate wall but with meeting Angelina with the help of his ex-wife Susan wanting to reconcile with him by hiring Angelina a feng shui consultant (Cupid) to help with his energy flow and she does a little to much though, lol but with a few I’m not going to say walls because their to hard but hedges in the way they both find a way to cut them down for find each other’s arms again. I’d love to hear more about Krista and Derek

This is a Quick Sweet Romantic Story!
Angelina is a consultant of Feng Shui. She meets Will thru his ex-wife who wants to get back together with him. She asks Angelina to improve his life style with some changes in his home.
The minute Angelina meets Will, she does not like him. He is rude and always on his phone.
But her best friend Krista keeps pushing her towards him. Even his Mother loves her at first sight and tries to match them up.
This is a short romance and they both fall hard quickly with sparks between them.
I enjoyed this cute short story with lots of humor and a happy ending.

Angelina is a Feng Shui expert and is best known as the Feng Shui Cupid because once she’s righted your living space you somehow find forever happiness. The thing is she can’t seem to find her own. Will is a corporate executive that is so hung up on his work that he’s neglected his life. His ex-wife decides to hire Angelina to right his living space in hopes of getting him back. But what she doesn’t know is that these two people who can’t seem to know what they want out of life are actually very good together.

Sparks Fly

Sparks Fly and so did this book. I started earlier today and finished this evening. It captured my attention and I thoroughly enjoyed both the storyline and the characters that jumped out of the story. To say that Angelina was a whirlwind and Krista her BFF is an understatement. Will never knew what hit him and his ex-wife was unintentionally the sole reason that the love that was in this book came together. Both at the outset and conclusion of the story, Susan demonstrated a true love for her ex-husband.

She allowed two hours, but for this mansion should of said two weeks for the consultation. It was a gift from his ex wife, why, she read an article and it was called feng shui cupid, and hoping for reconciliation. Will didn’t want it done, didn’t have the time and left Angelina at the front door to take a call. Finally saying she would try one more time. With the two of them working together, will it change him, or will opposites attraction, or does feng shui Cupid work for Susan. Cute story.

A lighthearted read about Angelina a Feng Shui consultant who meets Will when he is given the gift of a consultation by his ex-wife. The 2 could not be any more opposite but they have an undeniable chemistry. I read this in a matter of hours and whilst I felt the writing was good at the start I feel it did tail off at the end and some questionable cliche writing followed. Would probably read this author again.

This is a different type of love story. A woman hires someone to help her ex husband get back on track so she can persuade him to fall back in love with her. Little did she know the romance between this expert and her ex was going to be fast and instant. I loved this story but with the romance took a little longer to happen, I struggle with the instant love and marriage.

Another great love story

Angelina was hired by Susan to do a Fung Shi consultation for her ex husband. Every time she seems to work with a couple of person there love lives get better. But Angelina & Will's first meeting doesn't go real well the first time. But by the second meeting something sparks.

Fun read!

Romance has never been my favorite genre. However, I do download free ones on occasion. Last year I read 234 books and I will always rate the book but rarely post an additional comment. The fact that I am doing that for this book is a testament in itself of how much I enjoyed the book. More importantly, I'd love to read a sequel about Krista and Derek.

Love all of Bella’s books

Another amazing story by Bella Andre. The million CEO who is divorced and his ex wife hires Angelina to bring balance & energy into Will’s life. Will is smitten with Angelina from the beginning, she wants nothing to do with him or date him. Sparks do fly & surprises too with HEA. Highly recommend this book & all her books.

Will and Angelina are opposites. Total opposites. He’s CEO of his own large company while she’s into feng shui. He has the perfect ex-wife while she has a great best friend. I laughed out loud at some of the conversations and mental pictures. I enjoyed the variety of well-written characters. And mostly, I liked the idea that starting over is full of hope and totally possible.

'm finished with Sparks Fly: Yayy, I'm finished and boy was it a good read. It was more captivating than I expected. I thought that by it being a short read that it might be a bit corny, but it wasn't. I truly enjoyed it, hope you do as well.

I would have finished reading this sooner had I not gotten sick. Today is the first time I've started feeling a little better.

Not my usual sort of book but I decided to read all the books I'd downloaded for free and this was one. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be and it was more entertaining than some of the others I got so it gets an extra star.

Sparks Fly is a sweet romantic tale by Lucy Kevin. Can an overworked, unhappy CEO find love and ever-lasting romance with a sweet, uncomplicated Feng Shui consultant? If you’re into romance novels, then you want to read this one.

Sparks Fly

Hired by an ex wife to make her husband fall in love with again, the so called Feng Shui Cupid is faced with a real dilemma when she falls in love with him herself. The storyline is great and the characters are believable, with the ending delightful.

Sweet guick read!

This was a fun book. The snarkiness of the hero was entertaining. They had great chemistry and it was fun to watch the relationship evolve. The supporting characters were a hoot!

Easy, sweet bedtime read

They meet. Hes divorced but has never been in love with anything but his job. In the end he gives it all up for her. When he tracks her down to propose she has moved to his hometown by his mum, and is pregnant with their baby.
