Bit disappointed with this, there I was with a charity shop buy with recipes from the likes of James Martin, Paul Rankin, Brian Turner, Ainsley Harriott, Phil Vickery, Lesley Waters and Antony Worrall Thompson and expecting great things, and no. I cooked Ainsley's broccoli and cheddar soup which was nice, Phil Vickery's wild mushroom and stilton except I used ordinary mushrooms, didn't put in all the herbs just the parsley and used the milk substituted for cream. It tasted okay actually. I really liked Brian Turner's chicken breasts with bacon and mushroom stuffing, I don't think I've cooked a Brian Turner recipe which hasn't been good! And I must have all his cookbooks! Ainsley is another one whose early cookbooks were very good but not so keen on his latest ones.

But this book was a bit of a disappointment, it's a 2003 edition, as I was expecting a great selection of very good recipes from some very good chefs, but sadly not so, very few made me feel wow I must really cook this, so think this one is going back in a bag for the charity shop.
