Loved this book! Lots of twists and turns! In this book about being chosen to be a lottery winner. The man who orchestrated this scheme was truly evil.

I felt the ending was predictable ((not the last page) and perhaps it could have been a little shorter!

I liked this book and could totally see it becoming a TV show or something that would capture everyone's attention. Some of my favorite quotes from the book are below:

Eon nodded. ¨Any key used to open something enchanted is made of gold.¨
I smiled at this strange remark. ¨Is that a rule?¨
¨It is more than a mere rule, for rules can be changed. It is truth.¨

¨If you know it was a castle once, how can you not know whose castle it was?¨ I demanded.
¨One can posses some shallow perspective without the depth of true knowledge.¨

The Winner by David Baldacci was a great read. I am never disappointed in his books. I finished the book in a few days; however, did not post my results until months later...it is another one of Baldacci's best works as he intertwines reality with mystery with fiction...
