Chiron: Healing Body & Soul

Rate this book
Since Chiron's discovery forty years ago, astrologers have posed countless theories on the irrefutable impact of the "dark horse" planet. Going a step further, Martin Lass presents a groundbreaking new interpretation of the Chiron paradigm, demonstrating the comet's healing influence on present and past-life wounds. From its mythology, birth, and discovery to its astrological impact, Lass offers a comprehensive understanding of Chiron and its place in the New Age movement. Highlighting its essential role in the horoscope, the author details Chiron's planetary cycles, patterns, transits, and its influence in each of the signs, houses, and aspects. Chiron provides all the tools necessary to embark on a healing journey toward well-being and evolutionary consciousness.

I read a newer publication on the topic of Chiron, since many of the most popular titles are old editions that read very dated to me.

I am an advanced beginner and I enjoy challenging myself, but I struggled with this book and here are my reasons:

This book contained both astronomy terms and spiritual reflections that are foreign to me. Even authors from the new age era took the time to explain terminology and their approaches to their readers. This book was different, and there was no storytelling to it either. It felt like a heavy lecture up until the practical chapters - which are extremely useful, by the way.

In short - I'm keeping this book as reference. I'm sure as I continue to learn about Chiron, I'll come back to it and it'll help with integrating knowledge. The planning of the book is great, and it has a modern appeal, but it was particularly hard to follow and the author's voice felt disconnected from the reader.
