About the author

Anna Simon (1974) worked as a consultant in internal medicine and infectious diseases in the Radboudumc in Nijmegen, the Netherlands, from 2010 until 2021. She currently (2021) works for Doctors without Borders.
In 2015, she published a historical novel in Dutch, called Oproer tussen Maas en Waal. Since 2007, she has been active as an audiobook narrator for Librivox, in Dutch as well as in English, and since 2014 also for Legamus.

Anna Simon (1974) heeft gewerkt als internist in het Radboudumc in Nijmegen van 2010 tot 2021. Op dit moment (2021) werkt zij voor Artsen zonder Grenzen. In 2015 verscheen haar debuutroman, genaamd Oproer tussen Maas en Waal bij Uitgeverij Aspekt. Eerder verscheen van haar hand het boekje Nijmegen 1892, een geïllustreerde stadswandeling door de eind 19-eeuwse stadsuitleg van Nijmegen. Daarnaast spreekt zij sinds 2007 gratis luisterboeken in bij Librivox en sinds 2014 bij Legamus, zowel in het Nederlands als in het Engels.
