Delivered To Eternity: An Alesta the Vampire Book

Rate this book
Ahhhhh! Vamps in Kilts! Run for the hills!

Through the misty moors and aching crags, she calls you!
In her manor, on the loch, you’ll find her.
Take a leap, lay down to sleep, for you may never wake, your soul at stake.
A dark-haired beauty, with fangs so sharp, lips so red but a human heart.
Alesta! She dares you!

Alesta is a nurse with a secret. When babies start disappearing from her hospital, the police investigation implicates her. The police, however, are the least of her problems, as her past comes back alive. Such is the way with vampires.

Alexandria, Scotland has no idea what’s coming!

This tale is fast-paced, thrilling and delivers it all, with a bit of bite, fear, all wrapped up in Scottish humor.

A different twist on a vampire love story. This book is set in Scotland and introduces you to many different characters that make you feel like you're sitting in a castle looking over a loch and hoping that the next feed is not you....or maybe depending on the character, that it is you!
I had a difficult time with the beginning of the story but once the characters are established (around chapter 4) I found myself not wanting to put this book down!
It is only available through amazon as an e-book but well worth it just to get swept away for a few hours.

Could not get into this book. It kept switching point of view with no break or spacer. If it kept to the same person for a page or two then it time skipped and I was left confused again. There was also a lot of dialog that didn't have he said she saids with it. It was hard to figure out who was saying what.

I may not given it enough time to really get into the story, but it felt so poorly organized, while I have a stack of other books I could be reading.

I found this to be a thoroughly delightful story filled with warm, well-constructed, eccentric characters, subtle humor, and an original Vampire plot with a writing style similar to...nobody's but her own. I highly recommend this book if you are into feel-good vampire lit--because I think this is the only one.

I just couldn't finish this. Was not holding my interest at all. Put it down for now, maybe pick it up later.
