I was "guided" by my primary soul mate, on the other side to read this book. Thank you.

The author is the Reverend of a Spiritualist church (The Journey Within) near my home. I have attended healing classes as well as regularly attending the empowerment circles.

My understanding is that she was a former catholic nun and her church is affiliated with the Spiritualists National Union as well as the Arthur Findlay College in England. Janet is the ordained Reverend, owner and leader of the church as well as a renowned medium who encourages spiritual growth as a necessary part of mediumship work.

One night before empowerment circle, I asked my guides whether I should continue this path of developing my mediumship skills. I was concerned that it was distracting from my spiritual path. I found myself wander into the church's little store. Spirit directed my attention to several things and there was no doubt that they wanted me to read her book. (I previously had no desire to read these books although I was aware of their existence)

The first pages clarified my apprehensions. I understand now that my spiritual journey walks hand in hand with mediumship and my desire to heal..well, to be a part of the healing, we don't heal but are messengers, the conduit for the healing.

Anyway, I do see Janet from time to time but she is a very busy woman and not that easy to get a chance to talk to but for a brief minute. I do know that I love the work she is doing and when I walk into her church I feel the pure and beautiful energy.

It's no wonder that so many travel up to 2 hours to come to her services, classes, and medium circles.

I did not realize how blessed I am to live so close.

Thank you Janet for your dedication to help so many grow spiritually .

This book is a must read for any developing medium or for anyone who would like to understand how the process works.. or for anyone who would like more information so they can connect to their own loved ones... for we all have the potential to do so.

A great read not only about mediumship but about a woman embracing her incredible gift with grace, humility and incredible love. Janet is such a beautiful inspiration within the world of spiritualism. I now have a visit to her church in New Jersey as one of my bucket list items.

A phenomenal book if you are a developing Medium. It not only has driven me to be better, but has validated my own experiences in Mediumship.
There are many good exercises suggested throughout the book.
Evidential Mediumship is going further, creating a deeply personal meaning to the person you are trying to help, with the person(s) they wish to hear from. It means confirming without a doubt, that you are the bridge between them, giving the message; that those person(s) are still there with them. It’s an amazing feeling. 🥀🦋🕯🌈

This is the best book by far I have read on developing evidential mediumship. I am so sad it is out of print because there are so many amazing lessons and practices to help develop the abilities of new mediums. Janet truly blessed the world when she wrote this book. It is a hidden gem in the Spiritualist world.

This was the first book I read about mediumship after my spiritual awakening and discovering my own intuitive gifts. It is very informative, whether or not you aspire to being a psychic medium.
