There's a wedding in the works and it's going to be a killer!
Ivy Morris never thought she'd be walking down the aisle, especially to take her new stepmother to her old father. It's not flawless because, really, when is anything in Ivy's life flawless? But she does manage it without tripping. It's the reception that has her all atwitter when the wedding singer nearly chokes to death on a glass of water.
On top of that almost-catastrophe, something is going on with the women in the sleepy little town of Martha's Point, Virginia. For some reason no one under the age of fifty can keep their hands off of the delicious Ben Fallon. Ivy's little back shop isn't suffering from all the females running in to get that perfect tiny something to wear under their clothes, but her heart is another matter.
What will it take to get to the bottom of these mysteries? And is Ivy up to it? Well, she's about to find out. Who knew it would be so hard to deal with a live victim this time? And what about when her sister finds something unexpected in The Barn's parking lot?
I am truly grateful that Misty has pulled me into her books! When I finish one, I have to open the next asap. I am starting to think me and Ivy are real friends and I'm going through everything with her lol. Definitely recommend this series!!!!
I had a hard time getting into this book. At times, I felt that the plot was being dragged out. The subplot with all the women throwing themselves at Ben seemed too farfetched.
Something’s fishy in Martha’s Point, VA, in Book Three, Something old, Something dead, and once again Ivy Morris finds herself smack in the middle of it.
A dead wedding singer, a covert town plan to sabotage her relationship with Ben, and a gorgeous stranger who makes Ivy think twice all make for a fast-paced and fun read that will leave you wanting more.
Laugh out loud funny, Misty Simon had given us a character to root for. You go Ivy!!!
