Mature women need love too!

The characters in this book were captivating. The lack of communication sourced so many problems but their resolutions made a very intriguing plot.

A Christian novel with believable (loveable and hateable) characters, they drink, have sex, with and without love, cuss when provoked and make the reader care. They are in believable situations and relationships and conflicts get resolved without divine intervention. Not a real great book but easy fun reading and a breath of fresh air on the Christian literature bookshelf.

I read this book so long ago and only just realized that I hadn't added it to my list of books. I was introduced to Ms. Palfrey's work when I had just entered the library field- around 2002 or 03. I believe someone had just returned it- I took it home to read and have been a fan ever since!
