4.5 stars, if I just have to give a rating on a book about a storied character actor’s career.

It’s an honest autobiography from a KY gentleman with jaw-dropping recollections involving the Hollywood elite and his hand in some truly historic cinematic moments.

I’m saddened he’s passed on and that another chance (or chances) won’t come around to either get him back in front of a camera or to at least heap appreciation his way. I hope he was proud of this book, because it’s a great one.

No mention of 1988’s DEEP SPACE in here, wherein he had a leading role. Not even in the index. I reckon that tells me how fond he was of it.
