Admittedly, I did not read the entire thing cover to cover but I did read enough to get the gist that
A) It is a good telling of the history of Russia, my own opinions aside
B) It is well-written despite needing to adhere to a syllabus although the essay questions seem rather plain
Disclaimer I read most of this in 2020 so my memory is blotty but ya
