Interesting autobiographical account of a young man in Pakistan, growing up in an Islamic sect but asking questions all the time, wanting to know about other Muslims, and also about Christians. His family get angry with him and he ends up having to leave home when he's 18.
The book charts his life over the next few years as he pleads with God for guidance, does a huge amount of reading and research, and finds people to talk to and ask questions of. Eventually, unsurprisingly, he becomes a Christian believer, which means having to leave behind all the people he is close to. However the book doesn't go beyond that so we don't learn how he gets to the stage of having a book published.
It's quite a page-turner, but not particularly well written - lots of facts and information, and explanations, but not much of a personal touch. Three and a half stars, really.
