A Host of Improprieties

Rate this book
If you can provide the pool to sit beside and the cocktail (actually, it might take three or four to finish the book, but it doesn't take any at all to enjoy it) then this book can give you everything else you'll need to enjoy a perfect summer afternoon. Or several, if you nod off after the 4th cocktail on the first day; we don't judge.

Meet Noah, a popular professor at a small liberal arts college in Ohio and his girlfriend Gwen, a colleague who outranks Noah by just a bit. What kind of problems could they have? Well, Noah and Gwen are not the only two characters in this hilarious romantic comedy. You will find the tale of their journey impossible to put down, with the possible exception of when you have to run to the bathroom for a quick minute after that third mojito. I swear; what happens when you hit your forties? Back in college you were doing beer bongs and keg-stands, and now three drinks with umbrellas in them send you tiptoeing to the bathroom with your legs crossed. Life happens, I guess. Well, it certainly does to Gwen and Noah in A Host of Improprieties, anyway. It hasn't been double-checked and confirmed yet, but there are reports that Betty White held on as long as she did in the hope that she could find out before she died just how the professors' lives played out. Would they end up together? Would the scandal caused by Noah's book lead to career suicide? Can you nay-nay before you whip? If you feel the need to know the answers to these and a host of other questions, please don't make the same mistake Betty did and die before you can find out. There may be a tear or two shed along the way of your reading journey, but I promise you that they'll be tears of laughter and happiness, followed by a deluge of those sloppy, snotty tears that make it hard to catch your breath because your whole body is heaving with disappointment that there aren't any more pages to read. Seems like a perfect opportunity for a sequel from where I'm sitting.

A Host of Improprieties is a feel-good hilarious romance between people you'll want to see end up together. Be sure to read it before the adaptation comes out on Amazon Prime. Paul Rudd and Anne Hathaway are being talked about for the leads. Well, to this point, I'm the only one talking about it, but who knows where this could lead? Crazier things have happened, right? Just buy the book; you've already committed to having read over 2700 characters in the description; you've gotta find out what's going to happen, or look at all of the time you'll have wasted.

Please read it! My mom really liked it.
