Great for those looking to try dishes similar to those offered at P.F. Chang's. I was surprised to find variations of what they serve offered in here - and I'm guessing this book predates their appearance in that chain by a few years. Of course, the dishes that P.F. Chang's uses are not exactly the same, and perhaps they are derived from similar ancestors... Either way, it's funny that they've made their way into an upscale "bistro" type of setting. Yan's sense of humor and friendly style is an wonderful accompaniment to the many varied recipes. I appreciate the variety of the listings both in terms of finished product and in reference to the effort and skill required to prepare each dish - there really is something for almost every occasion and inclination in here.
