About the author

Aldo Buzzi was an author and architect.

Buzzi graduated from Milan School of Architecture in 1938. Though primarily an author of travel and gastronomy books, he also worked as an architect; as assistant director, scene writer, and screen writer for various film production companies in the former Yugoslavia, and in Rome, Italy, and France. He edited the following films: La Kermesse heroica, Ridolini e la collana della suocera e Ridolini esploratore, and Sette anni di guai, all produced by Editoriale Domus, 1945.

[CEDUTO] Si legge assai velocemente, ma non lascia quella soddisfazione che il risvolto di copertina lasciava intendere. Alcune pagine sono molto belle, come solo un vecchio saggio saprebbe scrivere. Altre sono di dubbio interesse, sia nell'argomento che nella stesura. E' un compendio di altri testi di Buzzi, che per il momento lascero' in libreria. Peccato, perche' avevo riposto speranze in questo - finora - sconosciuto autore novantenne.
