Stephen Hillenburg was an American animator, cartoonist, and marine-biology teacher. He was the creator of the Nickelodeon animated television series SpongeBob SquarePants, which he also directed, produced, and wrote.

I grew up with Spongebob Squarepants so getting to revisit these characters was a fun adventure. My library just got the first two Spongebob comics anthologies in a Penworthy shipment so I’m sure I’ll be reading the next one soon. Fun bonus: there were lots of facts on marine science sprinkled throughout which made me feel less guilty for reading it.

Selected comics from 2011-2014. If you (or a kid you know) is a fan of Sponge Bob, get this book. It's kinda hard for me to not to like Sponge Bob and his zany crew of characters. The kids I know love him and I know they'll love this book too.

If you're a fan of the earlier TV seasons, you will love this book. Mr. Krabs being a cheapskate, SpongeBob being relentlessly loyal and optimistic, and Patrick being, well, Patrick. I LOL'd several times. It would be super fun to read aloud with kids!

If you love classic Spongebob, you will love this collection (and #2, and #3). Each story in this collection is like bonus episode featuring our beloved characters. Super funny and charming. A must for all Spongebob super fans.

Just a silly and a fun spongebob book, I will forever love spongebob and the show will always be part of my childhood, no matter how old I get I will keep watching spongebob. This book got me chuckling it was funny, just something silly to enjoy!

Shenanigans after Shenanigans. It is impossible to resist the charm of Spongebob Squarepants. If you think you should not read this because you watch the show, think again. The graphic novel contains information that is not in the show. I'm excited to read the second one.
