4 ½ stars - Contemporary Romance/Erotica
Holy cow, this is a hot one! Seven Nights of Sin has it all: a deliciously sexy male lead character who’s not really as much of a “bad-boy” as people perceive, a sweet, fun, spirited female protagonist who’s not nearly as innocent and naive as she seems, scorching hot sex scenes, and witty dialogue. Lacey Alexander’s writing is top notch and seriously steamy. The premise involves Damon and Brenna engaging in seven nights of various erotic escapades in Sin City (including risque clubs, f/f/m sex, m/f/m sex, and public sex) with them both acting under the guise of “what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas”; but can they make it through the week without risking their hearts? It's a delightful, sexy, erotic romance. This is going in my yowza-hotness shelf for sure!

Whoaaaa ! Have we got a eye-ball scorcher with plot to boot here 8-) It’s a bit formulaic in set up which is why I couldn’t give it a 5 because you could pretty much anticipate what they were going to do next, but for the amount of sex in this book for it not even to rate on the ick scale well that’s no mean feat.
The basis of the story is that the heroine Brenna wants to be in the music industry but she’s currently only an office worker for a music label. She ends up getting a break but the only problem is that she’s going to take over the job of the unknowing Damon Andros the stud agent of the music label. Her friend encourages her to have some fun in the Las Vegas sun with the Greek Adonis while she’s learning the tricks of the trade. She’s quite shy and not too sure what to do in and out of work while she’s with Damon but she’s itchin’ for some bitchin’ and starts to come out of her shell. The story is really about her and her sexual awakening with a man who lets her be who she wants to be without ridicule, shame or embarrassment. Damon encourages her to try it all and she does him proud ;-)
The first 50 pages of this book were a dud and I really wanted to toss it because it was all so predictable. Damon was also so annoying with I’m-So-Hot-Baby-You’ll-Singe-Your-Clothes-If You-Come-too-Close attitude. His male slut bit, that I think was supposed to come off as being an experienced man of the world, made him a bit gross when you think of all the visiting his magic wiener has been doing over the years. He’s a real ladies’ man but it’s just thrown at you too much at the beginning that it was a turn off. However, pass the first 50 pages and you’re in for quite the panting ride of a read :D You’ve got your standard sex between the h/h and all the various positions that the author could dream up, there’s also a wicked ménage scene, some f/f and f/f/m, swinging, voyeurism and exhibitionism. There’s no BDSM or anal scenes but it worked very well without that. The author writes the story in such a way that she builds up to Damon’s next sex surprise for Brenna and as a reader you keep thinking “I wonder if …” and then there it is which is well done because you’re never really sure if it’s going to happen or if it’s just you thinking “that’d be good if there was a …”. Often you don’t think there is going to be a particular sex scene because if someone said a book had “all that” you’d have to wonder where the story was but there is a story. The chapters are set up that they plan the business of the day, go to work and then the sexcapades begin. Brenna gets more and more adventurous and just throws caution to the wind having the time of her life.
The ending was quite good and I really felt bad for Damon but things fall into place very nicely at the very end. So it has that formula feel which is not that bad really but if that doesn’t bother you then I could see it getting a 5 star rating –if you have any finger pads left to fill in the stars that is ;-)

What a great, inventive imagination you have Lacey Alexander!
This is a short rant a few days later. I realize that I have something else to say about this book. Here I go again, throwing shit into the game, as my father would say. At the beginning of chapter 5 there is one sentence that irritated me above all others in this book. But, before I go there I want to say that I think Ms. Alexander wrote f/f, f/f/m so very well. (Is that how you say that?) I also have to say I have not read much of that aside from Lisa's Gift, which stands out in my memory. (Oo. Wee.) The sentence is as follows: " Because even if she had learned to enjoy fooling around with women, she still needed a man to reach real, true fulfillment- this man." If I thought it was the "this man" part of the sentence that would be fine. But I ended up thinking that her discovery and joy of being with a woman was negated. Why bother putting it in the story at all? In the next paragraph there is more "worshipping". I guess I am OK with that in the context of that paragraph. But dear reader I have to tell you after a military/cop father, military and /or cop brothers, my own children and many years of marriage- a penis worshipper I will never be. I am an appreciator, a reveler perhaps, a celebrant certainly.
I can see this is a longer piece begging to be written. Is there a way to have your writing just go to your goodread friends?

OMG this book was HOT HOT HOT HOT!!!!! I am not sure I have read an erotica this steamy in quite some time. The good thing about this book is that there was also a story written in between all of the sex. I fell in love with the characters and let me tell you Damon is someone to swoon over. If you are looking for a good smut read that will make you blush this is your book. It is off the charts hot. I honestly thought my Kindle might catch fire. LOL

This book was hotter than the fires of Mount Doom, that alone deserves a 5 star rating in my eye's. I loved both the H&h the chemistry between them leapt off the pages or shall I say screen of my reader. I enjoyed the story very much and it ended with a HEA that left me very happy. I must add a warning, one W/W/M scene and one M/M/W scene. I thought they were both done extremely tasteful.

The ending is inevitable, of course. Aside from the inventive premise and the insight into the music industry (which actually taught me a thing or two that I was even able to use in conversation one day - but couldn't say where I'd read it from!), it's a by-the-numbers romantic erotica book. The day (night) when Damon finds out Brenna's been lying to him looms constantly, shadowing every night of pleasure and leaving a bad taste in my mouth. So it has a happy ending, I still didn't like the set-up. The "nights of sin" were quite steamy and engrossing, especially the private clubs they went to, and the naughty things they did at the top of the faux Eiffel Tower. So I'm torn over liking it and really liking it, but I think the deceit aspect of the premise spoiled it enough to lower my rating.

I am still up in the air about the star rating to give this one, but I have decided to give it a 4 due to various reasons.
To begin with I found this book pretty blah, but to justify that I think it was to do with the really shitty time I was having at home, so I think it was my own fault. I couldn't get into the characters and couldn't feel the connection, it felt like a whole lotta lights on lights off action. They were either having sex or having boring in between sex time.
However, at the end I found it jaw dropping hot!! To elaborate, I was letting my Kindle read this to me on a car trip and actually had to stop and look around the car at various times during the book to make sure the other 3 passengers couldn't hear. I'm pretty sure it would have started an all our orgy in the car!
If it was a star rating on the sex alone it would be a 5 because it was smoking!! Kinky, kinky, orgy, threesome, girl on girl action just to mention a few, but for storyline it would probably be a 3.
Just one thing to point out - Is there anything else to do in Vegas apart from having sex in the Eiffel Tower? This is the second book in one month that I have read that has a sex scene there.

This book is erotica, so if that's not your thing, stop reading.
This was the second book I've read and loved by Lacey Alexander. It's highly romantic erotica, with a happily-ever-after ending, but still kinky and hot. The premise is a divorced secretary at an indy music label gets the job of a lifetime as an artist's rep for that label - but first she has to spend a week in Vegas learning from the guy she might be replacing (though he doesn't know he's on the way out.) They fall in love over the course of a very unihibited week. Incldes mfm and ffm menage, exhibitionism, voyerism, and spanking.

I couldn't decide if I wanted to give this book 2 or 3 stars, so I figure since I have to think about it, it get's 2. Initially I was pretty excited to read this, and now it has left me feeling a little let down, more than a little actually. If I were to base this book strictly off the sexy scenes and not on the plot, then this book would get a 4+, maybe even a 5. The sex was HOT! But, this book has a plot, sorta. It just felt like the author wanted to write some really steamy sex (which she did) and then instead of a couple of great short stories she wanted a book to sell and threw a generic plot around them. It was silly at some points, especially the end. He's so furious at her, and he has every right to be, yet their reconciliation is wrapped up in two or three sentences:
"I called Kelly and we met for coffee, talked for awhile - about you. She convinced me that the you I'd fallen for was the real you and that the you who lied wasn't."
Seriously? She knows she's learning this job, the job he's training her for, spending a whole with him, is his job. Damon is training Brenna for his job and he doesn't even know he's going to fired at the end of the week and she gets his job. When he finds out, rather stupidly as well because Brenna decides to discuss this whole thing with her boss, in the next room from Damon, door open, he gets furious and throws her out. And she didn't even like doing the job!! She knew she was not capable of doing the job from the beginning, yet she promised not to tell Damon he was training her for his job, and when she began to fall in love with him, she didn't tell him then either. Several times she admits to herself this may not be the job for her. Several times she mentions feeling guilty and how a good girl from Ohio never expected anything like this. Well dumbass, if the job is not what you thought, you KNOW you can't handle it, and if you proceed the man you supposedly love will be fired, then perhaps you should fix things by not taking the job and letting your man keep his! If he gets fired anyway, it's not your fault and you have nothing to be guilty for!

Ultimately arousing!!! Brenna is recently divorced as a result of her husband cheating on her. Needless to say, her selfesteem is seriously suffering. When she gets the chance to work along side a divinely sexy Damon to learn about the job of a lifetime, she finds the opportunity hard to turn down. Problem??? She's not only to learn from him, but more than likely take his job.
Kelly, a co-worker & friend to Brenna convinces her that this is her chance to really live, break free from her inhibitions since her divorce, and more than anything don't pass up the chance to fuck Damon!!!
Brenna has a problem with lying to Damon about the pretense of their working relationship, but continues to tell herself it has to be this way due to the job offer. What she doesn't suspect is Damon becoming her favorite passtime & earning a place in her heart. Damon is a ladies man that could & has had many gorgeous women, so he couldn't possibly really want her!!! Or could he???
They spend seven nights "training" in Las Vegas in a way Brenna never dreamed of stirring feelings inside her that through her for a loop!!!
I loved the writing style of this book. I've read other reviews stating it is just a sex feast, but I didn't quite see it that way. Yes, there was PLENTY of extremely erotic sex, but I saw it more as two lost souls finally coming in touch with their true emotional sides. Maybe it's because I also suffered divorce as a result of a cheating husband??? I do know that if this opportunity came my way after the divorce I would be in a much better place in my life right now & definitely satisfied!!!
I urge readers to pick this book up & look between the lines and I believe you will find an amazing love story instead of a sex feast!!!
Either way, who could go wrong if you realized you got to experience both??? Sometimes you don't need the perfect laid out story to be able to recognizethe deep connection these two have along with their love.
That being said, Damon is also slow to trust, so how will he feel if he finds out the entire truth??? I guess you'll just have to read!!!

I agree with Laura and Heather here, Hot Hot Hot! Lacey does a great job of describing the locations in Vegas. I appreciated the accurancy as I felt like I was taking a return trip :)
Brenna has been running the office for an indie record label. Their top A & R rep, Damon, only pops into the office occasionaly as he's often on scouting trips in hot entertainment cities. He lives a very sexually free and adventurous lifestyle that often makes the headlines because he's just as gorgeous and sexy as the talented artists he represents. YOWZA!! My eyes are burning, my brain is about to explode from image overload, and Kal, my Kindle, is overheating. I’m perspiring…no sweating is more like it…profusely, and I had to fill my Sea World misting fan TWICE!! I need to submerge myself in ice water. Even with all the sexual overload there was a good story here about trust and betrayal. Damon is to die for and let’s just say that Brenna…well she overcame her shyness…BIGTIME! Now I’m going to read a cookbook or something and try to calm down.

Este libro me llamó la atención por su portada, tan íntima, y por su sinopsis, tan divertida y sensual. Pero fue abrir el libro y encontrarme por casualidad con una escena que me hizo descartarlo. Brenna y su chico estaban en un bar, y llegó una amiga de él que se sentía triste por bla bla bla y aquí la "amiga" empezó a manosear a Brenna y la protagonista se dijo "¿qué mas da? Un poquito de consuelo para esta pobre chica, todo quedará en las Vegas". O____________O. No, gracias. Tríos, no.

Este libro me lo leí hace años en Wattpad, cuando había cuentas que subían adaptaciones y los convertían en fanfics. Recuerdo que era de mis favoritos, de hecho lo releí unas cuantas veces hasta enterarme de que era una historia original.

The Tittle totally suits the story, it's unreal.
before you read this book, you should have a tall glass to drink, your BOB or your partner, and later on a very long cold shower. seriously THAT good and smoking hot!
i have this thesis, that character who name is Damon have the sexy as sin characteristics, what do you think?
Heroine is your ordinary colleague at work and the boss decided that she should go chase after her out-of-league crush to take over his job. Crazy right?
well, she undertook a makeover, and it was a cute scene to read actually. he did a double take on her *aww*
Damon is a hottie bad boy with a good aim of life, with an ideal of his job as his passion, which is why he's a notorious figure.
Damon is good for Heroine, as he guide her to the wild side and experience more of life. Damon need her too, she is the second voice to make his career booming.
Does that mean Damon never know about her hidden intention at Vegas?
Will Heroine let go of her emotion to Damon and focus on her career takeover?

The Fifty Shades books were her first excursion into erotic literature. Thanks to the communitees here I found this book as her next read, and thank goodness she LOVED it.
She particularly related to the main character, who started out as an 'outsider' so to speak, fairly prim and proper. She enjoyed the characters ascent (I wont say descent) into the erotic world and sexual exploration.
While 'Fifty' introduced her to a small aspect of erotic literature, Seven Nights of Sin opened up many doors for her, and truly knocked her socks off. This novel affirmed for her that Fifty wasn't just a fluke for her, but a beginning of new desires and interest in the written word.

La sinopsis daba a entender que existía una trama fuera de lo convencional y solo duró un capítulo y medio. Dice la biografía de la autora que desea que sus lectoras den rienda suelta a sus deseos... pero las limita: solo si son atractivas y usan ropa sexy y se depilan, sólo si encuentran a un hombre masculino, tierno pero de pocas palabras y que sea experimentado; y únicamente si antes de ello eran puras y ahora se denominan "sucias" pero solo con ese hombre en particular.
Puro desgarramiento de venas para terminarlo, y solo teniendo en mente que sea lectura única para el tropecientos.

I thought that the tension builder, the lie, was weak. The guilt associated with this seemed contrived to me. The middle of the book was great. I loved the progression over the seven days, and the attraction of the characters.
The last part of the book where the lie is exposed almost ruined the book for me. The over-reaction was something totally out of left field. Anyone would have seen this as least as a possibility, and for the character to over react like this lowered my impression of him.

I enjoyed this more than The Bikini Diaries, not quite as much as What She Needs. Damon was annoying at first and said "babe" too much but I overlooked it because I'm a fan. Lacey Alexander's books are hot and zippy. A guilty pleasure, especially the f/f/m scenes. I really like that her books are about sexploration and have a girl gone wild vibe, but don't skimp on the romance. Seven Nights ended up being a sweet, satisfying read.

What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas! This book makes me want to jump on a plane and head out there right now! Take all your favorite Vegas landmarks, add lots of steamy love scenes, and a good romance story and you have Seven Nights of Sin. I'm glad I bought this one, I'll definatly be reading this one again.

10 stars if not more I LOVED LOVED LOVED this book. I ordered another book by this author but this one came in first I have decided this is my favorite author! I can't wait for the next one!!! A must read if you like a story along with all the incredible sex!

Damon Andros is the sexiest man in the music industry. Brenna Cayton works in his office and her boss decides that he wants her to learn all about Damon's job so that she can replace him. She goes to Vegas with him and he shows her the ropes and a whole lot more.

Very vivid and sensual. The characters are believable, likable, and seem to spring to life from its pages. Everything about this book is utterly amazing. It's the best book of its genre. Seven Nights of Sin is probably one of the few books I actually want to read over and over again.
