Secret Service Agent Cameron Roberts made a promise to Blair Powell, the President's daughter--not to place her own life in danger protecting Blair--but a request from the Commander in Chief forces her to break her word. In this sequel to Above All, Honor, Cameron places duty before love and accepts reassignment as the chief of Blair's security detail, despite knowing that this decision may destroy their tenuous new relationship. As the rift between them widens, more than one woman is happy to offer Blair the company that Cam cannot. Amidst political intrigue, an escalating threat to Blair's safety, and the seemingly irreconcilable personal differences that force them ever further apart, these two unusual women struggle to find their way back to one another.

Still 5⭐️
I read this book a few years ago and now enjoyed it again as an audiobook. What can I say, I still love this series. The chemistry between Cam and Blair is already skyrocketing, but Abby Craden pulls it off and elevates it even more. The problem that Cam is the commander of Blair's security team and their love could compromise Cam's objectivity still exists, and the more they get involved with each other, the more problematic it can become. But it's also the only way they can see each other regularly. How long will they be able to hide their relationship?

The hunt for Blair's stalker is exciting, thrilling even, and hard sacrifices have to be made. Positive things happen as well, such as Agent Stark being romantically courted by an unexpected person, and we see the strong agent suddenly become shy and insecure.

Seriously!

Can Radclyffe be any better? Yeah, I've read other reviews stating that she's predictable blah blah. Always a happy ending, but isn't that what we want from our fiction? Something resembling real life, but leaving you happy at the end? Isn't there enough hate and bad feeling in this world, which I hasten to add Radclyffe covers superbly. Radclyffe highlights on going issues from society, in this case a psychotic stalker in a position of trust. The good guys win but aren't unaffected. Book two is of such a high quality I'm intrigued to read book three. I really enjoyed this book. Kept me reading, kept my attention throughout. Now I'm off to read book three. Enjoy this one.

I really enjoyed this book, I was specifically looking for a lesbian fiction book which is how I discovered Radclyffe and I am glad I did. The book that captured me from the start and I struggled to put it down, great writing and a great story. The only reason that I haven't given it a 5 star rating is the cliché pairing of a closed off butch character falling for the femme character, the lesbian community is more diverse than this and not saying that it is not common but it has been done in novels and I would like to see a little more variety.

Overall, great book and I would highly recommend and I will definitely be reading more Radclyffe books.

The plot is somewhat missing, but the ladies do sizzle! You can feel the sexual tension through the pages! If only there was some meet to the plot...

I can’t put into words how much I love this series!!! I love Cam and Blair so much!! And I loved how their relationship evolved in this book. But I gotta admit that the stalker situation had me biting my nails. I love these kind of books, but, also, the suspense makes my anxiety go through the roof lol I felt as if I could breathe again when they caught him in the end. At least i truly hope that was him, but since there are more books, I’m not 100% sure and so I’m freaking out again 😩
Just let my girls be happy together already!! Ugh! You know it’s an excellent book when it makes you feel a lot of emotions.
I also loved to see some romance happening between Stark and the other agent. I’m rooting for them!
Anyways, can’t wait to start reading book 3 and find out what’s gonna happen next.
100% recommend this series. Radclyffe is a very talented author and she’s rapidly becoming one of my favorites.

I don't think I breathed well in the last couple of hours. That was intense!!!

I thought the second book couldn't top the first one but I was clearly wrong, this was such a good time. I love that there are so many badass women introduced in this one, and they all feel very realistic.

*mild spoilers*

The word "Loverboy" is completely ruined for me between this book and the rap beef last year.

I enjoyed this continuation of the stalker storyline from Above All, Honor, while also seeing Cam buckle in her futile attempt to fight an almost animalistic attraction to Blair. Though Blair is somewhat less self-centered than in Book 1, she still has her moments as she too begins to lower her walls and let Cam in. Listening to this many years after reading the book, I can't help but feel that their relationship is built on physical lust more than anything, but hey - it's entertaining nonetheless. I also appreciate the number of brave and strong, female characters in this book, from the MCs to several of the agents from the Secret Service and FBI. The build-up and climax of the stalker storyline was exciting and the narration Abby Craden added to the enjoyment. Her performance of the intimate scenes especially curls the toes. Having fun revisiting this series in audio form!

This is an up close and incredibly intense story about what it is like to be the daughter of the president of the United States. Additionally it is a remarkably demonstrative examination of an extraordinary relationship as it is being rekindled, retooled, and at times almost overwhelming for both parties. The other member of this couple is an astoundingly fine secret service operative and an amazing leader of the team in charge of safeguarding the chief of state's only child. I initially read the last published book of this series to date, book nine. I have since thoroughly enjoyed the first book and now I am unquestionably planning on devouring the entire collection in order. If any new gems appear on the scene they will go on my must-read list too. Magnificent!

Blair Powell is a more than an interesting woman caught in a multi-layered conundrum being related to such a public figure. Plus, with her mother having succumbed to breast cancer when she was nine years old, she performs double duty which also includes being an escort to her esteemed father. She has a beautiful mind of her own, a blistering passion for the person who captured her love, and a distinct sense of independence that puts the secret service team assigned to her on their toes nearly always. I simply cherish Blair and more than admire her heart, spirit, and often cantankerous nature brought on by her almost exclusively living in a fishbowl and often under the microscope of practically everyone. What a spitfire!

Cameron Roberts to me appears as if she were born to be a United States secret service agent and the formidable head of the team responsible for the Blairs' safety twenty-four hours of every day. She can adjust her demeanor within the scope of her role in a form I have yet to observe in anyone. Additionally she can function on next to no sleep for days at a time. However, her most endearing quality to me was when she knows how fervid her feelings are for Blair, she openly reveals the depth of her affection yet manages to balance and execute the times of her expressions of this intent in a well-nigh perfectly covert manner. She may be the most consummate professional I have ever had the pleasure of reading about. Couple that with her astonishingly focused and devoted sentiments toward Blair, she is wondrously adorably and captivatingly laudable. Bogglingly and certifiably awesome!

I was filled with a dazzling array of sensations while perched on the edge of my seat for by and large the entire book. I definitely recommend this. Satisfying to the max!

There are a lot of great things about this book. For one, it's just great to have a solid lesbian romance series like this in the world. Cam is a great character who has teeth and empathy. I like her so much I almost forgive her for falling for possibly the most selfish, spoiled, whiny, melodramatic, bratty woman-child character I've read since Veruca Salt. Blair is the sole reason I'm giving this 3stars, and oh how I wish it were different. The plot was tight and I enjoyed the pacing and how the ending unwound. The multi-faceted, multi-cultural secondary characters are fantastic. All the pros add up to a good book that entertains despite its 1-dimensional femme lead.

In this installment Cam and Blair come to a place of acceptance with their feelings for one another. The fact that Cam is recalled as Blair's security chief throws their relationship for a loop, but they come out on top. Stark and Savard's relationship is heating up. Savard is injured which brings Stark's feelings about her to the forefront. It's going to be interesting to see how these couples try to figure out how to separate their professional and private lives.

Please change the narrator, please please please. As for the plot - completely ridiculous as in plot? What plot? But ladies are pretty. Though president's daughter is dumb as balls, isn't she.

I'm a white cis gendered straight middle aged woman. This series is a little out of my normal reads. I really liked the first one. The plot here is good and kept me interested. The only criticism is part user failure, part the medium of an audio book let me down. I tend to listen to audio books while I am going about other things. There were times when there were flashbacks (I'm pretty sure) in the book. Mostly sex scenes. And I would find myself in the middle of one thinking hey, what? How did this happen? Then I realized at the end of the passage it was flashback, a memory. (I'm pretty sure. LOL) Had I been eyeball reading it instead of ear reading it, I'm sure it would be more obvious through punctuation cues. But that is a minor quibble.

I like the series and will probably go on to read more. Hey, a well written story is a well written story! Thanks to the audible escape offerings, I am loving the opportunity to read books outside my usually choices. It's risk free. And I've liked practically all of them!

Second of the Honor series.

Assigned to protect her, an attractive Secret Service agent falls for the Presidents equally beautiful daughter. A deep conspiracy to overthrow the government keeps the agent and her detail busy protecting the woman she loves and the President from assassins. The main characters are rich, as are all the secondary characters. There are nine books, this is the second, and they are all filled with romance and action.

It’s a great series? Start from the beginning. All nine books are on Audible, the narrator, Abby Craden, is the best I’ve heard, she really brings the story alive. I got them using the Audible Romance subscription.

Thanks to Radclyffe, the author, for a great ride. Enjoy!

Second in the Honor series and starts about six weeks after the end of book one. Secret Service Agent Cameron (Cam) Roberts is reassigned to head up the protection unit Blair Powell the daughter of the President. The threats have continued against Blair after Cam was shot protecting her. Now they are escalating and the FBI wants to use Blair as bait. I think the first book introduced the characters well but this one has more plot and action. Blair and Cam are discrete but no longer keeping their distance from each other. The unsub is sending packages and emails threatening Blair and those around her. Exciting, realistic (squabbling government agencies) and sexy. Definitely will continue with the series. Intense! This book was difficult to read at times. Radclyffe had me thoroughly fooled, and I thought the end would be entirely different than it was. Having more than one 'villain' in the book certainly lent to that. As usual, Cameron was wonderful although I'm getting a little worried for her. Blair was much more amiable in this second book, and I found myself warming to her as well. This book was so tense, that I had to put it down at times, just to assure myself that it was just fiction. Looking forward to the next one now, Love and Honor.

Suspenseful and tense bringing to life the harsh truths of a stalkers delusions. Can't believe the Cam is back in charge of Blair's security putting their relationship in 2nd place, but it for not that and in keeping her safe, there would be no relationship to contend with. I'm equally happy that Stark is allowing herself to see Savard in a different light ... I like where this is going.

I'm all for powerful female protagonist and Radclyffe is for sure providing us with great characters. Looking forward to the next book in this series.

Second time, but just as good as the first.

Radclyffe sets up suspenseful situation that still seem plausible. As this series progresses you start to wonder why so many bad things happen to these people. Makes you wonder if our current president or his family has similar things happen and we are just uninformed.

Cam ends up back with the job of protecting Blair, much to Blair's dismay. The FBI has done a terrible job of finding this stalker. Its up to Cam like always to save the day.

These two are meant to be and not even the chief of staff can keep them apart.

The second book of the Honor series and I have to admit I liked it more than the first one. You get to learn more about the main characters, Blair was less annoying and superficial in this one. You also have the time to get attached with the secondary characters as well, I was rooting so much for that character not to die. It has drama, romanticism, angst and action, there is a lot of spicy scenes as well , but for me sometimes it was too repetitive. It is an easy read, I would recommend it, if you are into “telenovelistic” sapphic novels.
