The story of 2 families who have endured a terrible tragedy and are brought together by the strangest circumstances. One is a retired police officer and the other is a woman with a special boy who has autism. They are being hunted by Mr. Gray...and you will just have to read it to find out why.

Some elements of this story reminded me of Dean Koontz's book, "From the Corner of His Eye", which I absolutely loved! I also enjoyed this one very much.
Recommended.

Today's Five STAR: Michaelbrent Collings: Loved this story, loved the characters and loved the theme. If you are looking for a cerebral page turner, look no further than Mr. Gray. Michael Brent Collings has blended the perfect mix of science, horror, and humanity in this action packed novel, so much so, that I was reminded of Michael Chrichton.

Without giving too much away, the character development of Kevin is spot on. I speak from personal experience and as I was reading what Lynette was describing, it brought back so many memories. Michael has either experienced this or has done his research extremely well. As for the science, that reminded me of long conversations I have had with my Autistic son as well, as he and I have talked about the same topics in a round about way.

If you like action, love Quantum Physics, or just want an intelligent read, you will not be sorry with this one. Brilliantly done.

A roller coaster of a read!

Wow, this book had everything, quantum physics, string theory, the hidden power of autism, love that conquered all and, of course, a murderous chase. The plot had many twists and turns alongside a story that unfolded at a frantic pace but, in the end, it was worth persevering with.

Hard to put down!

A very interesting story. A cop loses his family to a hit man and almost his own life. Deciding to move away or a new job, he once again find himself in danger. He meets Kevin and his mother. Kevin is of your typical boy. Very edge of the seat tension in this one and well worth reading

Lengthy, intricate

I read this book as one of the wonderful deals offered during the Covid 19 pandemic. The first thing I want to say is THANK YOU to Michael brent Collins for his generosity.
This particular book had a very unique concept. Where in the world does Mr Brents imagination hail from? Very clever, very intricate storytelling. I recommend this book!

Fun but convoluted

I liked this story with its dimensions and time travel but it got too smart for itself and got rather dumb in the end. Maybe I am not smart enough to understand or maybe the book just got too out there.

Weird stuff. Time "warps" and strange goings on while people are trying to kill each other. A satisfying explanation at the end. Quite a trip getting there though.

I first found this author's new series "The Colony" and was hooked on him. Outstanding writer.. I see other's compare him to Stephen King.. Don't! MichaelBrent Collings is in his own class! His writing is brilliant and his style manic.
His books starts off fast out of the gate, pulling ahead in the curve and winning by a length! I am not going to discuss the topic of the novel nor am I going to delve into the characters.. after all.. that is what the story is for.

I will tell you this story is gripping... grabs your shirt collar and pulls you along.. suspenseful.. you'll feel the tingling, and manic.. he won't let you catch your breath.
What a rush! A must read.

Who is Mr. Gray? Why does he want to kill an autistic boy? Two familes brought together under extraordinary circumstances. Fast paced journey and a great story. Second book I've read by Michael Brent Collings and i like the way he writes.

I would not say that this book is a horror story, but something much more. Enjoy.
