This is a remarkable cook book. I don't think I have reviewed a culinary book, but this book on baking is just smashing!
Attainable ingredients, simple methods, ingredients, practicalities and a history to a lot of the recipes are provided as well.
The chapters are in good sections, such as, chocolate cookies, kids cookies, celebration cookies, bars & oat cookies. So many lovely things to make, and a very good looking book to boot.
I have post it notes sticking out of numerous pages, and some bookmarks. I have probably made around ten of them thus far. The only thing is, of course, I just eat so much of the goodies!
The authors are friends, and they adore baking and are passionate; you can tell.
Absolutely recommend this book to all levels of bakers, but I have to confess this was 20c on the donations table at my local library (which has finally just re opened from a harsh Sydney wide lockdown) and I popped in in with my bag of loans. I walked out without paying, oh my goodness!
