With taut pacing, fast dialogue and nuanced characters, Ty N. Batson delivers a gripping and surprising Caribbean thriller that examines what happens when a professional assassin himself becomes the target.
I loved it! I don't routinely read crime or humour but I love how Ty Batson took the ugliness of crime and the national resentment of corrupt politicians and created a story which was light enough to be truly humorous yet interesting enough to hold the interest and spring surprises.
I thoroughly enjoyed it. There was one scene (no spoilers) which stayed with me because it was traumatic but I'm sensitive and it is not likely to affect 99% of readers.
The point of view character is the Hitman himself and he was charmingly likeable. All readers would take his side. After all he hated corrupt politicians and some of them were hiring hitmen anyway .....
