Basic Plot: A rat becomes a princess.

This book was given to me by a fellow English teacher who likes to raid library book sales. It's cute, and the story has a good moral to it, but beyond that, only time will tell if it becomes one my son wants to hear more than once. I can't speculate.

When I was little my parents used to read this to me and I really enjoyed it. I found it funny and the illustrations are nice.
