Marguerite and her husband, George, have had their fair share of misfortune. They have had their dream house destroyed in a hurricane. They have had it rebuilt, only to have to abandon it and take up abode overseas when the Montserrat volcano erupts.
Their troubles are not over, however. George has become 'intolerant and intolerable'. His attitude is having an adverse effect on the whole family. Even his beloved daughter, Clementine, reacts to this situation.
Marguerite has always lived with a 'fantasy' that helps her get through the darkest of days. Will that fantasy be of aid to her now?
