I am Fate, but I control nothing.

Despite being captured by Hades and tortured to do his bidding, I refuse to succumb. My mate will come for me of that I’m certain. I’ve spent multiple lifetimes hiding from Death, but the goddess was right. In the end, he will always find me.

And when he does, he’ll smite down all our enemies, and we will finally have our happy ending. Because my powers are strengthening, and the wheels of fate are churning. I write destiny in the stars, and I wield the world’s fate.

Death and Fate have been kept apart for long enough. Let Divus burn. Chaos will reign.

G.K. De Rosa has been an avid reader from a very young age. In fact, before she could even read, she tried fooling everyone into thinking that she could. At the precocious age of two, while living in Italy, she had memorized an entire children’s book in Italian and expertly turned the pages at the exact right moments of the story. As she grew up, she always enjoyed literature, no doubt having been instilled with a love of story telling from her early years in Catholic school where she was greatly influenced by exemplary teachers who taught her the value of English and Literature. Though she did not pursue writing in college and instead went for the more traditional route of International Business inspired by her love for travel and all things foreign, after a move to New York City, she found her creative writing side calling once again. She began writing a restaurant review blog, City Lights and Tasty Bites, detailing her other passion – food! The hectic hustle and bustle of the city, combined with long commuting times gave her the opportunity to spend more time reading and rekindled a lost love. After reading countless books in many diverse genres over the two years in New York City, and returning to her home state of Florida, she felt compelled to write something for herself. She had always felt particularly drawn to Young Adult novels and having been an eternal romantic at heart, a fantasy romance was a natural choice. She currently lives in South Florida with her real life Prince Charming and their fur baby, Nico the German Shepherd.

4 STARS ✨

This one is a bit of a hard one to review. I absolutely adore this series, and after reading Death's Captive and Death's Fate, Of Gods and Wolves quickly became one of my favourite series, with Death's Mate one of my most anticipated releases of the year.

However, for some reason, Death's Mate just didn't exactly hit the mark for me. G.K. DeRosa's writing remained fantastic, and I still adored Attie and Thanatos, but, for some reason, the final book just felt a little bit rushed. It was a good ending and a sound conclusion to their story for now, but, I don't know — maybe it's just because I loved their story so much that I didn't feel ready for it to end, and that's why it didn't feel right.

I am hoping that, as this series is a part of a much bigger timeline, that this is not the end we see of Astra and Thane. Chaos will reign, after all, and I kind of want to see how Hades ends up fairing from his position at the end of the series. Because, of course, in a series where the villain gets the girl, I still want to know more about their villain's story. But maybe that's just because I read too many Hades and Persephone retellings, and I did see a couple of potential easter eggs with someone he could end up with?

I really hope that I haven't come across a negative Nancy with this one, because I do still love this series, and I wish that the ending did leave me as content as everyone else and it did feel for me as if it fell short. Attie and Thanatos' story is one of my favourites, and they will continue to be one of my favourite fictional couples.

Thank you, G.K. DeRosa, for such a fabulous adventure with these two.

The final book in this series picks up after Astra is rescued from Hades by Thanatos (Thane). Her joy is short lived as her two sisters are still held captive by Hades. Her youngest sister is rescue and recovers but when her middle sister is finally freed, she has been changed because of what she suffered and refuses to have anything to do with Astra as she wanted the three of them to try and stop the destruction of the realm of the gods as well as the battle coming up between the gods and the paranormals and humans due to the gods wanting to control this realm after the destruction of their own realm.

There is a lot of action, adventure and conflict in this story which leads up to the final battle with all concerned. In this series you’ll once again meet old friends from the Wolfish and Vampish series so you can revisit them briefly as things rush to the final battle.

I really enjoyed this series. As with all of GK’s series I was caught up in the story and found it hard to put down. I heartily recommend it to everyone who loves paranormal romances and the interpersonal struggles they have in their relationships. When a love affair has been cursed by the gods for centuries can it finally have a happily ever after?

I loved it, and I cried so much 🤣❤️ and as I said in another review five stars is not enough!
I got overwhelmed with emotions . I loved how Thane and Astra's story developed and how much they fight for their love and for breaking the loop of endless suffering. Let the world burn, nothing is going to keep them appart this time!
This book as well as the others was so well written that it mentally teleported me into The World Of Azar . All the details and the characters complexity it makes me think that world is impossible to not be real.
I also loved the fact that some of my favorite characters were brought together for one last fight ,united 🥹.
The end of the book ( I am going to cry a few more days knowing that this was the end) gave me a feelling of peace like the one you get after you get through a hard period.
Happy Forever and Always!❤️

This third and final installment in the Of Gods and Wolves series is here! I jumped right in as I had to know what happened after Thane rescued Astra from Hades.

After centuries and centuries of being cursed, Thane and Astra are hoping that they can break the curse once and for all and finally be happy. I don't want to get too spoilery, but things certainly pick up in this book and they don't let go!

I was NOT expecting the ending that did end up happening at the end. It was a twist I didn't see coming, not even close! I am happy with how it all ended and tied up. I've always enjoyed G.K.'s writing and always will. I'm eagerly awaiting the next book she writes!

>Book Review – Death’s Mate

>I am an independent reviewer. This book is the 3rdin the Of Gods and Wolves series and ends in an HEA. Thane (Death) and Astra (Fate) are hiding their pregnancy from the gods. There is a prophesy regarding any child they may have that is quite negative. This book has a lot going on.

>Thane tries to break the curse on himself and Astra, but finds out only Astra’s blood can end the curse. The end of the story has Fate using a different body. I thought it was weird that Thane’s brother’s love is the body used. Thane doesn’t think that will be an issue?

>This book is appropriate for an adult audience. I am giving this book 4 stars. I wish there was more with the sisters. They had a special bond.

As I read Of Gods and Wolves: Deaths Mate, I often thought “oh I see how this is going to go”…. And BOOM…. “I sure as hell didn’t see that coming.” I was utterly blown away when Astra died and was put into Alessa’s body (and wolf). This action brought on a slew of thoughts/questions in my mind. The main one being… What about Viceroy? G. K. DeRosa never fails when it comes to keeping her readers on the edge of their seats. I’ve always appreciated how she intertwines the characters from her other series pertaining to the world of Azar. It never fails to make me want MORE!.

This was incredible! This had me on the edge of my seat from start to finish as Thane & Astra’s journey comes to a close after all they have been through and the times they have been kept apart. The world building has been incredible so much so that you could easily visualise yourself in this amazing world and our characters, our friends have grown so much and come together for a last fight and I was great to see some old friends as well. It’s been one hell of a ride and the author has done a fantastic job with this ending and yes I did shed a few tears and this is a series I would definitely recommend!

The End

I enjoyed this trilogy, this book was probably my favourite of the three because it's where everything came together and all the action happened ♡

Chaos will reign - Astra and Thane work hard to keep her safe and hidden to keep the life she carries a secret for if the gods knew they would end her causing her to vacate her current body and lose chaos. But the bigger she grows the more the land if the gods begins to crumble until they have no choice but to leave. They move to Azar and the human realm causing chaos where ever they go and when Zeus sets his sights on the throne of Azar, they'll have to come together to save their new home.

The conclusion felt somewhat hurried to me, and I wasn’t fully content with how it wrapped up, particularly concerning the body-swapping element. Perhaps my expectations were too high.

Additionally, I longed for a different outcome for Lachesis, Astra's sister. I wished for her to be a supportive sibling and potentially pair up with the remaining single triplet. It also saddened me that Rhomus' situation remained unchanged by the end of the story. Why didn't Astra do something about it?

Nonetheless, this tale of star-crossed lovers is captivating and rich with conflict, action, adventure, and romance. It’s a great addition to the World of Azar story!

The end of the God's and Wolves trilogy will keep you guessing until the end. Will they stay this time? Will little Chaos cause chaos? Thantos/Thane and Attie/Astra are doing everything to stay together this time, even letting the world fall. I honestly was not able to guess the end of the book and loved that.
It's a wonderful conclusion with cameos from other friends from other series.
As always, G.K. DeRosa kept me hooked through the whole story.

I got this book free from ARC and loved it. I totally enjoyed the whole series though it was darker than most DeRosa's books and I have read 27 of them. The last book was exciting and it there happened a lot so it was fast to read. Thane was so protective and possessive as always and loved him for that. I liked how Astra didn't listened to him every time. Their relationship got better and better in every book. The ending didn't disappoint me either!

So if you love slow burn romance, action, enemies to lovers... this is for you :)

Yay!!

So much better! I still get frustrated at Astras apparent lack of concern over her life & the life of her son. It all worked out in the end, but her reckless actions cost others lives. Her insistence in ignoring common sense and taking unreasonable risks could have jeopardized everything they fought so hard for. In the end they did get their HEA, so all's well that ends well.

"That no matter what I do, you will always forgive me as I will forgive you. Because you are my end and my beginning. You are my everything."

What a perfect way to sum up this twisted love story between Thane/ Thanatos and Astra/ Attie. This book was an emotional roller-coaster with quite a plot twist surprise, but, as promised, eventually a HEA (happy ever after). I may have shed some happy tears! Death’s Mate is the final book in the Of Gods and Wolves trilogy and picks up right where we left off… Attie has been abducted by Hades and Thane is going to do anything and everything to get her back. Little Chaos is about to cause all kinds of… well, chaos, as that prophecy comes back into play. There’s a new Big Bad and some villains may not be the actual villains any longer. I enjoyed seeing where this story took us and how everything mostly shakes out in the end. And of course, I loved having some of our favorites back in the mix – GK never disappoints with all the cameos she includes. This is a must-read for any fan of G.K. DeRosa!

Happy Reading!

As always LOVE

I just love Thane. He may not always do what others want, but he does the best he thinks needs to be done for those he cares about.

Oh the ending..... The series has ended but baby Chaos? His future and other questions???

It was such a good read! When you want to know more, is a good book!

Book 3 in Of Gods and Wolves series

A long, hard-fought battle to a HEA for this cursed fated mates romance. This book is filled with secrets, unlikely allies, impossible choices, and so much more. All the emotions. Epic conclusion that has taken a journey to the end. I enjoyed following along on their journey.

This book wraps up the series for Thane and Astra. Everything with Hades and Zeus and the prophecy comes to ahead. Thanatos proves himself and Attie is remarkable in willingness to do what is needed. A fitting ending. I volunteered to read this book via booksprout.

Destiny

Has Fate and Death gone on vacation? Sort of. They are busy with family. Including Luna, Hectate, Atti's Mystic Wolf guards, and a surprise member. One who should never have been possible. No spoilers!
