Deja 2: Unfinished Business by Tajana Sutton picked up right where part one left off. Tajana most certainly did not disappoint as she wove a tale of lies, deceit, and revenge. The characters raw emotions won me over from the start. The book was well written and although it had a few errors, they weren't enough to take away from the storyline or plot. Can' wait to read more from her!

This was another hit! Deja has been through so much with the drama that keeps her & Xavier from being happy!!! Latasha seems to be temporary gone, but that doesn't stop someone from Deja's pass to show up...Deja know has more issues and she doesn't know how much longer she can take it...it seems to be heartbreak and tragedy one after another...Jade and Jay seem happy, but Jay is starting to keep late hours at work...and it is taking a toll on Jade...maybe they will get it together, then again maybe not!!! How will Deja, Jade, Zay & Jay all make it this time???

Well OKAY... this one I actually liked... the first one... not so much.

... Ah yeah stop reading because this is going to be a bit of a spoiler... well not the whole thing but I am telling a little part of what happened.....

Drama, Drama, Drama and I am sorry but if your baby momma and a group of chicken heads (I was going to say mother of your child.. but we all know that trick wasn't no real mother... she fit baby momma perfectly" beats the hell out of me to the point that I am in a ICU... Yeah instantly "Love don't live here anymore". I would have been OUT. So I give her props for sticking in there but at some point you have to draw the line... He does love very much but it seems like every single time he says "I would never let anything happen to you"... something happens to her.

There is a boat load of drama going on... but I will thank the author for having only 4 main characters. From what I have gathered with some of the urban books is in order to have "drama" you need 408 people in the book... when this author was able to accomplish that with only 4 main character which we got to known pretty well in the first book before she started introducing others.
So I THANK YOU for that.

Now I am off to read the next book ( salty about that... yes I am but what can you do?)

Signing off "Baby momma's, ex girlfriends and drama oh my!"

I was very confused on how I would rate this book. I'm going to set aside the fact that the book looked more like a rough draft than an final copy. It was filled with errors which took away from the plot. With that being said....

Deja 2: Unfinished Business picked up right where book 1 left off. Jade and Jay made their union official and poor Deja and Xavier life was filled with one unfortunate incident after another. Both couples thought past love interests where out of their lifes, only to have them resurface in one way or another. Deja can't escape her tumultous past....her grandfather Money has come back and it's not a welcomed visit.

The book was a page turner. It was filled with drama, and I love both couples. I don't think I will read any further, because I hate to spend my hard earned money on a book, that I need a translator to interpret because of grammatical errors. Sorry Tajana. You need a better editor that will fix these errors before they submit your work for the general public to buy.

On the strength of the plot, I give this book 4 stars.

Drama! Drama! Drama! Between Latasha and Money...poor Deja just still could not get a break, its like she was going through so much pain and drama just to be with a man she loved. I think this book was good you could see the growth in the authors writing as well, in terms of how the story was written. This is a quick read so i read this part in a few hours of starting it. Ths book does take the reader through a few emotions such as anger and happiness for many of the characters. There were twist and turns but one twist I knind of figured out. Enjoyed reading about Deja and will be starting part 3 in a few!

I just finish reading this book. I don't want Mona and Latasha died on the scene but they need to know how to move on with their lives. Jay and Xavier know that they killed Money (Deja's grandfather), they will ended up to go to jail for Mona and Latasha death. Goes around and comes around. So far, I like this book and I will give a five stars for this book and author because this author did a good job for this book.

I was bored. For me it was one of those strange books that stuff happens but nothing to get excited about. I wanted to put it down because I thought I read the 1st one but I think I have it mixed up with another story, but I knew if I stopped I wasnt't coming back. Doesn't matter though, I wasn't lost without the back story from the 1st book.

I often avoid series because the follow up in my estimation is never quite as good as the original. ..this is no exception. Still a good read but the level of intensity is down a notch. So much happened to Deja in this novel. I'm onto book 3 to see where we go from there
