About the author

Shawn Yap, or 13Wishes, is a comic artist, writer and illustrator based in Singapore.

He made his debut with “Jack Doe: Anonymous”(2009), a noir detective thriller published by local publishers, Chuangyi and serialized in its “MUGEN” anthology. Since then, he has gone on to publish a 2nd book – “Closets” (2010) and “Letters” (2013), both tales about his childhood.

He believes in many things, but most of all that art and stories are gifts from God to bind the world together.
