Zoological portmanteaux serve as punchlines for this book of animal jokes. Cute, but not one to read over and over again (one hopes).

This was a silly book filled with jokes about combining animals together. This would be a great book to role play and have the students act out. This would also be a nice break to let them laugh a little bit and try to pronounce made-up funny words that are mixed animals.

This book has good illustrations. It's kind of difficult to read the words when they combine two animals together though. Be good for students to use their imagination. I wouldn't recommend it for young children.

A collection of riddles about fanciful combination animals, including "What do you call a kangaroo that wakes you up in the morning? A kangarooster."
