The catalog of photos at the back is interesting and detailed, but many of those not chosen for enlargement seem to be the most eye-catching.

I've seen some of Walker Evans photographs, but did not realize he was around my area much. Some of the photographs were reproduced rather small for my tastes but otherwise I like this handy little volume.

Good introduction to Walker Evans' body of work. Reproductions, though small, are good.
