I just finished reading Hidden Mickey 3 – Wolf! by Nancy Temple Rodrigue. From the first day I received my order, I couldn’t put it down. This book continues from where Hidden Mickey 2 left off. What happens to Wolf? Where did Daniel Crain go? What mystical powers does the red diamond hold for those who wear it? All your answers will be presented to you in this third installment.

I really enjoyed the fantasy element of this book when blending the realism of the Disneyland park, real characters throughout history, and the characters created by this author. This book is recommended for any Disney enthusiast and anyone who loves a great book. The only disappointing part is that the next book release is not until November 2011.

Just finished Hidden Mickey 3 Wolf! What a fabulous story for any fan of Disney, mysteries, adventure and the supernatural! The time travel aspects were so much fun and the results sometimes so unexpected, that you just can put the book down until you find out what will happen next. Wanted so much to have "Wolf" as my friend so I could share his adventures. For the Disneyland fan there are so many fun details from the Park that I can't wait until my next trip to check them out. The authors of this series write an intriguing story and I can't wait for the next installments!

Wolf is the man!
Wolf will go through anything to protect the secret. The twists and turns that you are taken on in this book are amazing! I would've never thought that the lady Wolf is in charge of protecting is so special in the end. I was shocked to figure out as the story went on who she really was. The changes that happened in the book on the island they are on in 1816 are things that were happening in Disneyland at the time and how those changes became true in that alternate reality. Rose being a strong female character is awesome! I love that every single lady in these books have been strong! How the island sucks their memories away and how Wolf has to bring something back from the future to jog their memories in place to be able to assist them back to their future. Just amazing how it's all written and done. The necklace! Oh, I love how the necklace plays such an important part and it made me cry to read what Walt Disney did with it. I can see all of Disneyland in my mind. I know what they look for. I understand the changes and want to see them again. Disneyland will never look the same again to me. Now it will be MORE magical. Thanks, Nancy. GREAT JOB!

I was thoroughly entertained with book 1, then book 2 was great too, but this one blew my sox off!!! That new character wolf is soooo cool! In book 2 he gave walt a pendant in 1940, and I knew it had to be time travel... and I was so right! This is awesome!
I love the way he could jump time, an when you think about all the things that have to be planned when he changes into a real wolf, then back to a man (a naked man), wow! This was amazing. Again the authors blew me away. Who would have ever thought Tom Sawyer Island would be a time portal. Very very cool!
I knew it was fantasy fiction, but totally believable, that's what I love about this series, they are all totally believable.
I can't wait till the fourth book comes out, hopefully the publisher will release it early on kindle again.

Nowhere near as good as the first two books in this series. I had some issues with holes in the plot that made the premise of the whole book not make sense to me, and the book is still plagued with the poor editing of the first two novels. Really didn't enjoy this book.

A meandering trip through Disney trivia and an adventure on Tom Sawyer Island. The book really shines when the author sticks to describing the park and the adventure on the island. The rest of the plot is less cohesive and really just a pretext for describing the Disney scenes. This one isn’t the roller coaster ride the first two were. It’s more of a drift on the lazy river with no real destination.

Truly enjoying the creativity of these stories and how they are tied into present day Disneyland. The author has created parallel world to Disneyland and has tied them into some interesting Disney myths. Cannot wait for the next edition, to see where Wolf, Wals and Rose end up and how it is tied back to present day Disney.

Love this series. This novel takes quite a turn from the previous two in the series. Really this is the first novel of a duology, so not everything is wrapped up, plus there is a heavy dose of fantasy in this and the next that was not there with the previous two. With all that said, I enjoyed this book just as much and eagerly am grabbing the fourth.

3.5 stars. I enjoyed this book but it wasn't as good as the first two. It jumped around allot and I had a hard time getting into it. The second half of the book picked up and came together much better. Still a great story and will definitely read the next book.
