Desperate Deceptions

Rate this book
Born in the shadows of death, Yankel Ashenbaum and his sister Rochel struggle to break through the barriers of despair. Their attempts leave indelible scars on those most dear to them.

Rafi Ashenbaum is a name Michelle would love to forget-but when tragedy strikes her family, she know that will never be possible.

Chanan Dubin's hardened youth devastates his human spirit and replaces it with fear in the guise of abuse. Unwittingly, he sets the stage for his son's desperate attempts at his own survival.

And the Chain of desperation continues...

The second book in the Deceptions trilogy is a powerfully moving novel for adults. Its poignant portrayal of human emotions reaches to the depths of our hearts.

i'm never really sure about my feelings towards this one- the first time i read it was immediately after innocent deception, which i did NOT like. but re-reading this more recently, it's not what i thought it was.
