A gentler novel from the pen of crime writer, Jake Barton in the enchanting setting of Andalucia. Donna O'Prey and Peg, her grandmother, are on holiday in rural Spain when Donna makes a shocking discovery - the body of an unknown woman, dumped in a ravine. Donna is far from convinced by the apparent solution of the crime while Peg discovers a mystery of her own. The unlikely sleuths battle numerous obstacles while searching for the evidence they need, but Donna's efforts to unmask the killer place her in deadly danger.
An enjoyable crime thriller set in a Spain full of expat English. I particularly liked the portrayall of Peg, the heroines grandmother, who reminded me of more than one elderly women I've met.
