The part of Lee's past that had once haunted her returned to bless her. Lee Ezell's poignant, powerful story of her reunion with her daughter reveals not only her pain but also her strengthened faith in God and the way in which He works to reveal His purpose in our lives.
Moving story of a woman who was raped and gave her baby up for adoption. I found this book hard to get through due to its highly religious content and had to force myself to keep reading. I feel that a religious Christian would appreciate the book much more than I did.
This was a different style of book for me. It was good to read something that I usually don’t read. My mom also read it. She gives it a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ rating as it was also a different style of book for her
After hearing the story of this woman at a women's conference, I very much wanted to read her book and the rest of the story of her life and how God worked in it. The fifth daughter of alcoholic, abusive parents in the rough neighborhoods of Philadelphia, she certainly had a tough life. But God made beauty out of the ashes of her circumstances and this book is a wonderful testimony to that fact.
Excellent book about a young Christian woman who becomes pregnant through rape and gives the child up for adoption. As this was many years ago, it was kept a secret.
