The late night disappearance of a young woman from a town festival leads to an investigation involving barbarian kidnappers and a heartbroken officer in the town guard seeking both love and revenge. What begins as a lack of communication combined with a horrible misunderstanding leads to a full scale castle siege where personal matters become government affairs and everyone is caught in the crossfire.
