I just browsed this book. It's geared toward a YA audience, so I suppose it's good for them. But it was just a basic biography and I was hoping it would introduce me more to Rustin, not just to the fabulous work he did in his lifetime. I was pleased that the author chose to talk about the impact of Rustin's homosexuality and unwillingness to live in the closet. I think it's very important for young readers to understand that context.
