FROM THE CROW'S NEST - MEMORIES, MUSINGS AND MIRTH

Rate this book
A collection of the author’s life experiences, generally seen funny side up. School, admission adventures, college mischief, spouse advice, posting problems, stock market mishaps, colony calamities - all have been included and witticised. From the Crow’s Nest – Memories, Musings and Mirth is a captivating and mirthful travelogue about the journey of life seen through the irreverent eyes of a wannabe author, who just happens to be a Fauji and a Mariner.

“Extremely humorous and sharply observant, Gaurav takes us along on a roller coaster ride of his life’s adventures as a seaman, while sharing behind-the-scene stories of a fauji’s life. All of us who have been part of a community, whether hostel or colonies, will find shades of our lives reflected here!”

A short and very engaging book by my alma mater who has had such a lively and interesting career in the merchant navy and later in the Indian Navy. Was a big fan of his crisp and witty emails in our alumni mailing group and was lovely reading his first published book. Hope to read more from him.
