Anything that makes me go back in time and experience the beginnings of creations that makes us who we are today, gets my seal of approval. Short, sharp and informative, a neat little paperback that explores the creations made during the Victorian era.

Good quality information book. Easy to read for a young audience, covers a wide range of themes and contains many illustrations.

Book begins with an introduction to the Victorian era and discusses the monarchy and influences of the Victorians on our lives today. Includes information on Victorian towns, factories, life of the rich and poor, victorian schools, life in the town and county, Victorian women, inventions, transport and medicine.

This book covers a lot of aspects of Victorian life and society. The information is wonderful. I love all aspects of history especially Victorian and Tudor periods (which I will be buying next)
