Series finale
I enjoyed this series overall. I thought it wrapped up nicely. It is kind of sad this is the last book

The end
Last book in this series.This series is focussed on leane the starlight witch she is 41 and it starts with her walking in on her husband having sex. He is human and don't know about her bloodline.she is a Merlin (witch FBI, demon hunters) and gets sent to a hotel to protect it couldn't of come at a better time as she was homeless that day.she moves into a apartment on the 13th floor with the rest of the staff and makes good friends with three plus jimmy.also her love interest is a slow burn that is next door in the restaurant.
This series is great a few twist lots of action and a little romance and loads of magic.I cried in this book near the end. I must admit I did think she would die and come back a Angel she is part Angel and if it's for the greater good don't that give her wings? But no the story don't go there so no spoilers.I think this series could continue but would have to change course a little less people trying to kill her.
I would of liked it to end with her pregnant with twins he did heal her a few times who is to say she couldn't get pregnant maybe she couldn't with a human? That could of been a fun book everyone fussing over the her they was a lovely group of people

Leana is up against an assassin guild of angels and she gets no help from her angel father. Her friends and Valen have her back though. She is trying to figure out why they want to kill her but not her sister, who is more powerful than she is.
There is a lot of action, a lot of fights with the angels as Leana tries to stay alive. On top of all that, she has to deal with three YouTubers who will be following her every move thanks to Basil.
I am not sure if this is the last book in the series, but the book ended in a good spot. I hope not because I love this group of characters.

Leana's father came to warn her that an army of assassin angels is on the way to kill her with barely an explation except that they fear something from her. While trying out to stay alive and figuring out why the legion wants her dead she will learn about a prophecy. If she's able to stop it, maybe the angels will leave her alone.
I have really loved this serie and cannot wait to read other book from Kim Richardson. I have received an arc of this book from the author.

es una lástima que la saga de las brujas de nueva york llegue a su fin con este libro. desde luego, es un final más que perfecto, redondo para todos los personajes, con un giro de los acontecimientos muy interesante. he disfrutado mucho de esta saga, de la forma en que está escrita y del sentido del humor de la escritora. su forma de concebir la escritura hace que el libro sea ligero, ameno y no cueste en absoluto devorar una página tras otra. la recomiendo mucho. leana fairchild siempre es buena compañía. espero y deseo que la autora continúe con esta saga.

The first book caught my attention and I couldn't wait for the next book. I'm fin fact. I went from book to book to book until all 6 were done.

I loved this entire series. Why the Legion of Angel assassins is out to murder Leanna, no one knows. But she and her friends once again tackle another amazing challenge. I can't give too much away but you will enjoy this book

Head rush
This was a non stop edge of your seat story. Though I think Leana deserves a bit more from her Angel father than she's gotten from him. The fights with the assassin angels were epic as well as full of snarky banter. Love this series.

I love paranormal books for the sheer escapism. It is like taking a vacation. Who knew there were Angel assassins? Well, there are in this book and they are deadly. The group works together, as they must, to save humanity.

Great ending!
I knew she needed her sister. I'm happy that she figured it out. I know the series is done, but I really hope to see more of Leana and Shay. Oh, and let's not forget Valen!

Way of the witch by Kim Richardson. This was a great ending to this series. This was action packed it was seeping at the edges. Trying to save the world and stop the assassin's good off angels from killing her. Yeah not much in a days work lol

The main character is supposed to be in her 40’s but the way the author wrote her makes her feel like she’s 20? (Not in a good way)

Worth the read

I enjoy the 6 book series. You meet Leana and she is a Starlight witch and a Merlin she investigates paranormal problems. But she has many of her own. She makes a new family of friends at the hotel and her giant and little sister. Together they take on their little world and save the day.

Superb. Leana is hunted by assassin angels but doesn't know why. She must find a way to stop them and figure out why they want her dead. It has something to do with a prophecy but no one will tell her what. With the help of her friends and family she must discover the secret and find a way to stop it.
Meanwhile, 3 young women are following her around and filming everything for their YouTube channel with Basil's permission. Just one more frustration on top of everything else.
9/20/2024 - I had to re-read this because I couldn't remember reading it before. Several things came back to me as I read through it again and it was just as good the second time around. At the time of the first reading I didn't realize this was the last book in the series. When I saw the complete set on sale I thought I'd missed the ending. It still doesn't read like it's the end, but I guess they all lived happily ever after.
