The Magical Miseducation of Sylvie Steele-
This book features the kind of heroine that's all to real. She's got real life troubles and no amount of magic will fix things unless she's willing to put in the work. Once she's started healing herself there's nothing getting in her way and she's a force to be reckoned with. I enjoyed reading this story, I love the inclusivity and the idea that the things we struggle with might be secretly strengthening our innate magic.

Witching the Night Away-
If you're looking for a new author or a new series, or looking to check in on already loved characters this anthology will have a bit of everything you need and then some. Enjoy! I know I did!

I received an ARC this is my honest unpaid review.

This is a great collection of stories by some pretty fantastic authors. I enjoy anthology collections such as this; not only do I get to read stories from favored authors, but I get to discover a few new ones as well. T.M. Former, V. Vaughn, Deanna Chase, and Renee George have each written stories that kept me on the edge of my seat in anticipation of what was going to happen next. Definitely a collection worth reading.

This review is for A Potion For Your Thoughts --This story makes me equate inheritance to curse. Jesse is a witch in denial. When circumstances force her into accepting them chaos erupts. It's a fast twisty tale with a happy ending.

Candle Me With Care by Mandy Roth

This short, sweet story was exactly what I needed. I love this town and it’s inhabitants so I LOVED getting the chance to visit again! Though I would definitely like an expanded story at some point, Sam and Bee’s story was interesting and funny, and I read it all in one sitting.

The Magical Miseducation of Sylvie Steele by Stephanie Berchiolly

This story wastes zero time getting your attention that's for sure. You know those days where everything that could possibly go wrong does? Multiply that with a magical calculator and you've become Sylvie Steele. She's reeling from one thing with no time to process and there comes the next whammy. The characters we meet are all outcasts in some way but they are far from helpless victims. This fun short story sets up a world that promises plenty of ups and downs on a wonderfully magic rollarcoaster that I'm ready to ride.

Witching the Night Away. Here are reviews of five of the ten novellas. Each one with plenty of fun, action, and romance.

Gift of the Witch by Deanna Chase 5
Abby & Clay +
Things were going so well—until they weren't. Things were just going awry. Each day more happened, and she was suddenly sick. The Brewery had problems and on and on! Was it a curse?
A good, short read with lots going on. Will they find who cursed them?
A story with unforgettable characters lots of action and emotions. Another good one from the author and her witchy friends.

Witches, Mysteries & Mail delivery by V Vaughn as Suzy Spelling,
Maryann & John
She ran away and is hiding for now. She just wonders how long she'd be able to hide on the little island.
She for a job as a mail carrier. And that is how she found the victim. Now she has to find out who is guilty.
This is the beginning of a new series. Looks like it's going to be a good one and I look forward to the coven she joins, the man she is afraid to fall for, and more excitement.
Good one: Enjoy.

Candle Me with Care (part of Witching the night away) By Mandy Roth Pub 3/20/23 5 stars
Beatrice & Samuel,

A former couple, he's back in town. Why? He left years ago without a word then until now. She has enough to worry about getting ready for an important celebration. With her curse, anything could happen, like the romance kindled by... well you need to read that.

This is a novella with all the fun, romance, and magic, of a full-length book, and so much more. Not one you want to miss, you'll be thinking and smiling about it long after you've finished reading.

Michelle Pillow's A Potion for Your Thoughts (part of Witching the night away)
Jessie & Mal
Jessie wanted nothing to do with the inheritance from her mother. It was Mal's job as the attorney to get her to sign the papers and open the bank box. She's related to two strong magical families. Something she doesn't believe in. Or does she?
Some funny, some dangerous, characters, with lots for Jessie to deal with in a strange town. What's going to happen with her magic, her family, and so much more?

Witching the night Away: You Can't Furry Love by Renee George 5 stars due 3/24/23
Jo Jo & Etta

Life is changing for Etta. She'd left home for college and because her life or what she knew about her life was changing. Little did she know just how much more change was about to take place.
Enemies were hunting her. Supernaturals were after her. Changes were coming. Thankfully she wasn't as alone as she thought. Jo Jo showed up to...well you'll need to read to find out.

A wonderful novella with old friends and family, surprises, magic, and so much more. Will the feelings she's been fighting for him break free? Lots to find out and changes to be made. You'll love every page.

*** Highlighting “GIFT OF THE WITCH BY DEANNA CHASE” ***
This story is aligned with the author’s "Witches of Keating Hollow" series. Brewmaster Clay Garrison was supposed to be bottling at their brewery when he discovered something wrong with the brew tanks which will prevent them from supplying the vendors depending on them. His entire stock was ruined. All of the tanks were damaged and will have to be replaced. Abby knew immediately her father, who owned the brewery, did not have the money needed to replace them right now. Insurance may cover it, but they still won’t have enough product to fill the orders in time. Loss of product would put them one or two months behind. Abby had been experimenting on brewing beer in the backup tanks, but she wasn’t sure how it would turn out since this was her first batch. With everything depending now on her untested experiments, which may or may not be an appropriate substitute, the pressure was on! Why was everything bad happening to them? It felt almost like a curse! And more bad things continued to happen.

When Clay almost had a bad accident with a buck running into his path, his daughter Olive told him she had thrown away the crystal he now had in his pocket! Abby’s mother had given it to her and the bad things started; she was sure it was cursed. Abby examined the magical signature and verified it had been cursed by her mother. Coupled with the warning of danger from Charlotte’s ghost, someone was indeed out to cause them harm! Who is after them, and how will they deal with it?

I was one of the lucky ones to receive this book free and I am excited to read it and give you my honest review. This is a series of 12 novellas written by 12 amazing PWF authors. Hold on tight it's going to be a wild and witching ride.

"Gift of the Witch" by Deanna Chase
How are Clay and Abby doing? Something is stirring in their neck of the woods and it’s not a happy surprise. It’s that time again when Abby needs to put her sleuthing cap on and get to the bottom of the problems. A fun quick read with mystery, romance and laughs!!

“You Can't Furry Love” by Renee George
Etta is a wolf shifter who grew up in abusive pack. Finally, she was able to get away and continue her education. For four blissful years she was free until William the Alpha wanted her back. Pack members were sent to bring her home and it was violent. She refused to go…This is where her life changed dramatically. A woman with eyes of dark pearls mumbled some words and something changed in her. With the help of her friend, Jo Jo (a coyote shifter) and her family they had to keep her safe and find a way to stop William and the pack..
A great read, hitting all the emotions. A must read!! 5 Stars.

“The Magical Miseducation of Sylvie Steele” by Stephanie Berchiolly
Be prepared this book starts with a bang, my heart was pounding, and my adrenaline was rising and I had only read a few lines. That told me this book is going to pull me in, and it did. Sylvie was in a situation that would change her life forever.
Sylvie fought with fear and from that came a great power that she couldn’t explain, but she knew she had to figure it out soon, because danger was around every corner. It was time for her magical education to begin.
A sweet romance is in the works that is an added element of fun to this already great story.
With the help of her friends would they be able to save Sylvie or would she go to a place she could never return from?
I highly recommend This book and any other books by Ms. Stephanie Berchiolly.
5+ Stars

Well, that’s all folks, I am sad to see it end, but wasn’t it a grand adventure. I was right in the beginning I knew it would be a wild and witchy ride. These 12 authors did not disappoint, every word they wrote was another step into their realm of witchy wonder, romance, mystery and lots of laughs.
Witching The Night Away is a bibliophile’s heaven!
This is a must read my book friends, I highly recommend it!!

Witchingly Fantastic!
Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on March 20, 2023
I received an ARC of the anthology and I couldn’t be more pleased. While I am familiar with TM Cromer, Deanna Chase and Sarah Hegger, there were many authors I didn’t know at all. So, having this collection of novellas allowed me a glimpse of some really wonderful writing.

TM Cromer, such an incredibly wonderful author, did not disappoint. She is funny, and touching. She brings her characters to life, and it feels like they are right there with you as you read. If you don’t already know her, this is a fun read to give a quick taste of the Thorne magic.

Sarah Hegger’s novella is amazing. The Cre Witch series is fantastic, and this quick story allows you a peek into what it’s like. The wolves are incredible. If this sampling doesn’t make you long for the whole story, I’d be shocked. Sarah is masterful in her stories. You’d be missing out on some great witchiness if you didn’t give her a try.

Deanna Chase’s, Gift of the Witch, is quite good. It rides a bit of an emotional roller coaster, even in this brief snippet. Deanna is very good at capturing real emotion in all if her Witches of Keating Hollow series. Jump in with this novella and feel it draw you into the Hollow…

As I made my way through the anthology, I found myself wanting more from authors I’d never read before: Michelle Pillow, Mandy Roth, Yasmine Galenorn, and Christina Garner. I now have some of their work in my TBR pile.

I recommend this collection of wonderful stories to anyone interested in the paranormal witch stories. This is one of the best collections I have read.

I haven't got around to reading all the novellas yet - I automatically flicked to my two favourite authors in the collection:

Mandy M. Roth - Candle Me with Care

Beatrice lives in one of the cookiest, and most magical places, on Earth. A well meaning granny managed to curse her grandkids and now they are having a time of it trying to find love. Beatrice has another chance when her first love comes back to town.

Sam left when his nefarious grandfather threatened the lives of his sweetheart and her brother. Now he's back under sufferance to complete a job for the old codger and so far he's managed to avoid Bea. But vandals, madcap Petey and some finicky Leprechaun gold are involved so the road to true love is anything but smooth!

Michelle M. Pillow - A Potion For Your Thoughts

Jessie wants no part of Lucky Valley or her mothers inheritance. But Aunt Polly, the force of nature that she is, blows into her life and with a well meaning part-Elf lawyer, whips Jesse back to Lucky Valley. Now Jessie has to fight off a horde of Gremlins, unneighbourly townfolk and an involuntary and intense attraction to her attorney!

Poor Jessie - that inheritance strikes more fear than Pandora's box!

I loved being back with the crazy inhabitants of these magical towns. There is always love in the air but it's not exactly easy to obtain. You never quite know if your allies are going to make things better or worse for you. Lets face it when Petey or Polly are involved Armageddon is always a potential outcome!

WITCHING THE NIGHT AWAY is a witchy anthology of 12 stories by 12 authors, some new to me. There are adventures at every turn.

A Potion For Your Thoughts by Michelle M. Pillow is the story I read and is also the third installment in the cozy (Un)Lucky Valley series by Ms. Pillow. Get ready for some wonderful characters and a crazy worlds that you might or might not want to visit.

Jessamine (Jessie) Goode has been avoiding a trip to Lucky Valley. She's told her sisters and the attorney she doesn't want any part of the inheritance.

During a round of bad luck the family estate attorney and her crazy Aunt Polly show up. After a dosing of one of Aunt Polly's mysterious potions she unwillingly agrees to go to (Un)Lucky Valley with them. As soon as the potion wears off she's ready to return to her home in Spokane. But her bad luck isn't over, the car she arrived in has been destroyed.  Before she knows it, she must confront her fears and her past to help defeat the  supernatural dangers that threaten the people she cares about.

I recommend this anthology to anyone who loves paranormal cozies and I don't think anyone will be disappointed in this anthology.

When I heard about this book- I immediately put in my pre-order, knowing I would NOT be disappointed.
Almost every author is one that is on my one-click list, and to get an anthology filled to the brim with the various voices is wonderful! Each author has a unique flavor, but together they all blend together amazingly well.

The Magical Miseducation of Sylvie Steele by Stephanie Berchiolly was one of my favorite of the stories I have read so far. From the very beginning, the book grabs you and will not let go! I could feel each emotion Sylvie was experiencing and I could easily identify with her. I wanted her to find her power and to take back all that had been taken from her in her life. Sometimes, I wanted to shake her and tell her to open her eyes, because she was letting fear rob her even more. Through her own processing, she comes to find her own power and her own ability to soar. I am now a big Sylvie fan and eager for more of her story!!!

These authors have outdone themselves once more in producing stories that will entertain, enlighten and tug at your heart. Grab this book NOW, I promise you will not be disappointed in the many stories presented by some amazingly talented authors.

This anthology of novellas from some of the best known writers in PNR or PWF books series, features linked stories by Mandy M Roth, Renee George, Deanna Chase, Amy Boyles and Yasmine Galenorn.
Roth's story set in Hedgewitch Cove and her Everlasting series sees wolf shifter Sam returning home after more threats from his grandfather Vernon Gentry.
He left eighteen years ago to protect the live of his life, witch Bee, and her brother Rein.
Of course he didn't tell them why he was going, so since his return Bee has been ignoring him.
But you can't stop chemistry, even when there's a curse, boisterous hellhounds and lovestruck cats around.
As you'd expect with Roth, it's funny, sweet, absurd, great worldbuilding and pretty sexy.
You also get your HEA.
The other notable story is by George who goes back to Peculiar with a story about Etta, Doc's daughter, her admirer Jo Jo and it features "guest appearances" by Sunny, Doc and Chavvah.
Etta is being hunted by William, the alpha she believed was her father, as she approaches her twenty fifth birthday at the vernal equinox.
You have the usual level of female bad-assery, magic, romance, hot kisses, danger and humour.
An incredibly fun anthology which is a great introduction to any of the included authors and their worlds.

A group of 12 wonderful stories from some amazing Authors. I am sure you will find a few or maybe even a dozen new authors to follow.
A collection of novellas about some lovable witches and their friends. The story I am reviewing is written by Mandy M. Roth, Candle With Care. A quirky little town in Louisiana with some of the most lovable and funny people you could ever read about.

Hedgewitch Cove, Louisiana a town of lovable, quirky and sometimes nasty supernaturals.
Samuel Gentry had to leave his home to protect his friends and loved ones but now he is back, for the same reason.
Beatrice Caillat is a powerful witch and also the mate Samuel left years ago, and not so happy to see him return.
This is a quick read but full of love and laughter. A story that once again leaves me not so patiently waiting for more from this little town, written by an Author who excels at writing them.

Cozy on up

This anthology is packed full of cozy romances that will leave you wanting more. Just check out these offerings from some of my favorite authors.

Candle Me With Care by Mandy M. Roth
A treasure worth keeping
This one is a quick jump back into the thick of magical shenanigans that happen in this little town. We got to see some of our favorite characters and meet some new ones. The author took us on a journey of second chances and healing as she brought these two to their HEA. I enjoyed the laughs and the experience, but I can’t help hoping we will get to hear more of their story. Possibly getting a chance to see gramps learn all about karma? Anyway, this book is a wonderful addition to the anthology and the series. I can’t wait to see what happens next.

A Potion For Your Thoughts by Michelle M Pillow
Tell me what you really think
Aunt Polly is back and wackier than ever! She’s intent on returning one of her lost sheep back into the fold, with a little help from a partial elf lawyer. It’s not as weird as it sounds, okay, it might be, but with Aunt Polly in the mix it’s guaranteed to be a bundle of laughs. I loved watching the siblings reconnect, and it’s never a dull moment with Herman and the gnomes. This book was a fantastic addition to the series, and I can’t wait to see what happens next.

Okay, first I am sucker for a bit of paranormal in my reading lately and I am always looking for new authors. This collection hit so many of my go-to's!
Kickass heroines-check, cozy romance-check, good story lines and new angles-check, all in a group of novellas/stand-alone stories that often tie into a bigger written world.

It's never bad to revisit Keating Hollow a Deanna Chase world of magic and romance, or Renee George's world of shifters and witches, but Stephanie Berchiolly created a whole 'nother universe (again, as she is wont to do) with The Magical Miseducation of Sylvie Steele - proving that what some people see as a 'disability' is really only another form of ability most people don't understand and refuse to educate themselves about.
And as well as writers already known to me - Michelle M. Pillow, Mandy M. Roth and Amy Boyles, I got to meet T.M. Cromer, V. Vaughn as Suzy Spelling, Yasmine Galenorn, Sarah Hegger, Christine Garner and Jennifer Blackstream. All of whom I will now add to my list of authors to read.
Seriously a fun read and I look forward to more from each of these wonderful Paranormal Women's Fiction writers.
ENJOY!

I am working my way through all the stories. As I read them I will update my reviews.

Deanna Chase - Gift of the Witch
T.M. Cromer - Enduring Magic
V Vaughn - Box Full of Murder
Mandy M. Roth - Candle Me with Care
Michelle M. Pillow - A Potion For Your Thoughts
Yasmine Galenorn - Web of Danger
Amy Boyles - One Solstice Night
Renee George - You Can’t Furry Love
Sarah Hegger - Forged in Fate

Stephanie Berchiolly - The Magical Miseducation of Sylvie Steele —— The Miseducation of Sylvie Steele - this is one of my favorite stories in the book. The fact that Sylvie Steele is a disabled person made this a more intriguing, compelling book for me. I am disabled and it is not often that someone word a character as well as Stephanie Berchiolly did. I loved Sylvie and her zest for life. I can’t wait to see wait to see what else there is in store for Sylvie Steele as I’m hoping Stephanie Berchiolly will continue her series.

I'm going to read this whole book, but this review is for the first one that I read, "Gift of the Witch" by Deanna Chase. I've been so busy lately that I haven't had as much time to read lately, so books have been lasting longer. However, I could not put this down until I finished it.

"Gift of the Witch" is part of the "Witches of Keating Hollow" series and it is about Abby and Clay. I love the way that Deanna always adds in characters from other books in the series in all of her books. This means we got to "see" so many characters from Keating Hollow.

Abby and Clay are having a string of bad luck and don't think a lot of it. Until Clay's teenage daughter fills them in, they have no idea what's going on. While it was a surprise to me what was causing their bad luck, it really shouldn't have been. The fact that it was is a testament to Deanna's writing.

Like all of Deanna's stories, this one is so well written. I cried several times, both sad and happy tears. I was so happy with the ending.

Was given this ebook as an ARC for a honest review. I was so excited to receive this anthology as there is quiet a few of my favourite authors in there. The book i'm gonna review is by Miss Mandy M Roth, 'Candle me with Care'

Oh I had missed the characters who live in Hedgewhitch Cove, with their querky and whitty Personalities, this story is only a novella, but by heck I wish there was more. To me it felt like the story was just starting to really kick into high gear when alĺ of a sudden it came to an end. I am hoping that Ms Mandy M Roth put this novella ebook Into this anthology as a taster of Samuel and Bea's story. And I am hoping there will be more to these two.
But saying all that if you want to sit with a cuppa and have a quick read and a good laugh, then this is the story for you.
Even though there's no cliffhanger in the Hedgewhitch Cove books called Bewitchingly Ever After I do recommend that you read in reading order starting with 'Once Hunted, Twice Shy'.

I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

There are so many cute stories in this set. I’ve read most of these authors and the novella is from one of their main series.

Gift of the Witch- Deanna Chase
This novella is from the Witches of Keating Hollow series. Clay and Abby have had a serious case of bad luck. Abby has to track down the root of the problem and finds something she didn’t expect.

A Potion for your Thoughts- Michelle Pillow
I haven’t read this series yet and after this novella, I am going to have to go get the books. Gnomes, gremlins and wacky relations in a town that blames your family for every bad thing that happens. Jesse has always denied her family heritage and said she would never go back to the town her family is from. Unfortunately she doesn’t have a choice. Loved Jesse and Mal, and the rest of her family. Can’t wait to grab the rest of the books

All the stories were super cute! Even found some new authors to stalk. I voluntarily reviewed a free copy of this book.

This is a collection of 11 stories about magic and romance. I highly enjoyed reading these stories. Each of these stories written by different authors. V. Vaugh's story "Witches, Mystery, and Mail delivery is about a local that died from questionable circumstances, but deemed as natural causes. Kylie, the mail carrier, found Darla. From the beyond Darla asks Kylie to find her killer. With the help of a familiar and John they set out to solve Darla 's murder. Along the way Kylie start to fall for John even though she thinks she doesn't think she is ready for love after recent events from her past. This was a great read. Each author wrote an amazing story. I love reading this kind of books. You are able to read stories from your favorite authors and introduced to new authors. Win Win!! If you love magic and romance this book is right up your alley!

I received a free ARC copy of this book, and I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

My review is for You Can't Furry Love by Renee George
Leaving Peculiar behind hadn't been enough for Etta. Stalked and not easily trusting, her destiny leads her into mysterious, magical, and dangerous situations full of well-kept secrets. But Etta was not alone for long, and her eyes were opening towards a new reality that was going to change her life. The story intrigues from the beginning with a lot of action and suspense. There were many mixed emotions, strong family ties, surprises, romance, some amusing scenes, passion, magic, secrets, violence, and very evil villains. I was very pleased to meet again the Peculiar’s characters, liked the interesting role they played in the story and to know what was behind Etta, a secondary character in one of the previous stories, which had left me intrigued. I love these interesting and entertaining stories of the peculiar inhabitants of Peculiar.

Witching the Night Away is an enjoyable collection of stories from various authors. The stories are unique ones that revolve around worlds they have already built. I really liked this collection not only for the additional spins but also for the introduction into authors I hadn’t had a chance to read before.

You can’t Furry Love was a story with a lot of action and punch. I fell into reading and couldn’t drag myself out until everything was resolved around Etta. The ending isn’t one I was expecting, but it was all good.

Candle me with Care was a fabulous addition to the Cove stories and highlights from some of the favorites characters. The story revolves around the curse and how it affects Bea and Sam. It was fun to also read about Aggy the cat and her dalliances with the mouse and Furfur.

I am really enjoying and can’t wait to finish digging in to the rest of these stories.

Gift of the Witch--A novella of Clay and Abby from the Witches of Keating Hollow. Something strange is going on in Keating Hollow and centers around Clay and Abby. Bad luck has attached itself to them. Will they find out what is going on and why? Another great story from Keating Hollow while in my opinion it was too short BUT I loved it anyways. I have loved every book Deanna has written whether it's a novella or a full book. Keating Hollow is the place where I would love to live...such a great town with amazing characters. Highly recommend.

Enduring Magic--A novella featuring Summer and Coop. It was so nice to read about the Thorne Witches again. Wow, Coop and Summer have had a rough time and now they have finally set a date for the wedding. So many changes to the wedding and one at the last minute. Alastair Thorne, oh how I have missed you! You did not disappoint...love that man!
Highly recommend excellent story and a great cast of characters.

There are still 10 more stories left in the anthology that I have to read but I am under obligations that are due soon, so I will be putting it on the back burner. I might try to squeeze a story here and there in between my other commitments.

I received an ARC from the author, but this is an honest review. This anthology is a where we meet Sylvie Steele, a quirky woman who has a spunk all her own. She happens to be a dwarf (which I find absolutely amazing), but due to this she is a target for a mugging gone wrong and almost kidnapped and left for dead. After she heals physically, she starts going to a therapy group to heal mentally and that's where she meets Ethan McCray. He's the head guy of the group, the "therapist" so to speak. As Sylvie heals mentally things start to happen and she starts to hear a voice in her head... come to find, she's magical and Ethan was sent to help guide her in a way. Danger ensues, Sylvie makes new friends, she makes new enemies, and she finally starts becoming the hero she always dreamed of becoming. I can't wait to read more of her adventures. This was a great start to a series.

A Potion for your Thoughts by Michelle M Pillow
It is so good to see old friends and meet new ones in this short story. This is a continuation of a series that we were introduced to a little while ago but has me loving this story. The characters are lovable and there is lots of action that keeps the story

I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I received this novella A Potion for Your Thoughts within the anthology to leave an honest review. It is regarding the youngest Goode sister Jesse and how she just doesn’t want to return to Colorado even though her mother passed, her mother’s negligence and trauma were severe. I totally get Jesse’s feelings of leaving bad things in the past and moving away from the hurt willing to live a healthy life. However fate and eccentric Aunt Polly with her familiar Herman the lobster are pulling the unwilling sister back into the fold. A story full of surprises and comedic adventures with the author’s trademark of comedy romance. A story that won’t disappoint and will make you smile.

I’ve already purchased the entire anthology.
