She was the quintessential party girl…until she met the guys who wanted more.
Growing up in foster care, Vanessa learned early on that the best way to get through life was to be happy, cheerful, and most of all, never ask for anything in return. Now she’s working as a bartender in New Orleans and living life on her own terms. Sure, the party life sometimes gets exhausting, but she knows better than to form long-term attachments with anyone.
Jason and Scott are business partners and friends who just bought the bar where Vanessa works. They’re completely captivated by her, but the dark-haired beauty won’t even give them a second glance. Until Fat Tuesday…
When the guys rescue her from a bad situation, Vanessa has no choice but to stay with them for a couple of days. It doesn't take long for them to give in to the simmering attraction between them. She wants to keep things casual, but soon their budding friendship starts looking a lot like love. Can Vanessa give up being the life of the party and learn to trust again? Because these two guys want forever.

What a creepy premise. Two wealthy dues low key stalk a girl almost 10 years their junior and immediately tell her they wanna marry her. And she is somehow okay with it.
Also, I’m sorry, but cover bums me out. Don’t spend sooo much time of a novella size short story talking about how “mixed race” and stressing how many “black features” the FMC has and then have her be the closest to white as possible on the cover.
Spice was lackluster at best. It was there but boring overall. I am super glad it was free, but it fits the bill of “you get what you pay for”
There was a lot of action in this book and I liked how well it kind of paired with the story. The main character did get a little annoying at times when she kept going in about not trusting people but that wasn’t a deciding factor for me. I liked how the two love interests weren’t too unrealistic and this book actually seems like one of the few books in this series where the whole plot was thought out beforehand.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Scott and Jason are enraptured with Vanessa and are protective of her. When she is attacked one night, they take her home. They act on the attraction they all feel which quickly reveals to be love for all of them. It is a very loving relationship accepted by Scott and Jason's families.
I received an ARC from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review. This menage love story has friendship, a little drama, denial and high heat. Vanessa works at the bar for Scott and Jason. She fights the attraction until she cannot deny it any more. The story is short and fast paced with good characters. Not very in depth with the length, but it was a fun read
I absolutely love the newest book in the Mardis Gras series. This book gives us party girl Vanessa's story. She work with Scott and Jason, and they share everything. When she is in a bad situation, these guys will do anything to keep and protect her. I'm new to Reba's books and a huge fan.
I enjoyed reading this for the peek into N’awlins Mardi Gras and nostalgia from the times I’ve visited the quarter. The characters were well done and the chemistry between them was as spicy as jambalya, crawfish pie, or file gumbo!
This was a cute short read. Instalove was spot on and the relationship was great. The guys were in it 100 percent and the way they were with the fmc was in point.
